DirtyDancing is still the best damn movie of my 80s childhood and I was 8 years old at the time….. Patrick Swayze is/was the best and I can’t believe it’s already been 12 years since he passed away…..

Are you referring to Soul Man? I revisited it recently and it really isn't very good IMO. I'd say The Hitcher was Howell's greatest performance.
