public int EmployeeId { get;private set;} richard.EmployeeId = 7777; It still gives me the error CS0272: The property or indexer 'Employee.EmployeeId' cannot be used in this context because the set accessor is inaccessible

Hi Alex, the private set would only be accesible from inside the class itself
