C. Voderson - Demonstration of Homer Dudley's Vocoder (1939)

Here's another one of those early speech synthesis demonstrations that was nearly lost to the ages. I found this on an ancient UC Berkeley site in .AU format. I'm uploading this for a class project, but if anyone else wants to use it in their own projects that's totally cool.

UC Berkeley's vocoder was donated by Kraftwerk after their concert at the college in 1975. It was a 1972 EMS Vocoder 1000. That vocoder was used on the song "ananas Symphonie". I'm guessing this was recorded in 1975/1976 on the EMS Vocoder 1000.
