Beidou is my favorite burning main DPS. You can use your burning enemies to proc perfect parries + cooldown reductions with Thundering Fury (via her constellation that makes her basic attacks do electro). Sadly some enemy types are immune to the build as their burning hitbox is too high for Beidou to interact with it.

When it comes to teams: Most pyro main DPS benefit more from vape/melt, and most Dendro benefit more from agravate/bloom then they do from burning. Try instead geo main dps. I did Navia, Zhongli, Bennett and Emilie. You have burning nonstop while not sacrificing any major damage reaction.

Calamity Queller is better IMO. Its top Base ATK of 714 with a +16.5% ATK Secondary isn't bad at all, but it's the Passive that really makes it shine At R1: • Unconditional +12% Elemental DMG. • Ramping +ATK% Buff after casting E Skill: +3.2% ATK/sec, 6 Stacks Max for +19.2% ATK, 20 seconds duration, no CD. • AND, when Off-Field, ATK Buff is DOUBLED! That's not an unpopular opinion, it's an incorrect set of statements which appears to stem from a misunderstanding of her kit Emilie's damage output has traditional linear scaling, as in not focused on elemental mastery like some other dendro teams. For full potential, failing to level her skill will kneecap the core of her damage output. Emilie's skill is the base or her kit and it scales entirely off atk, dendro damage and any relevant crit triggers or raw dmg% buffs. Her burning passive in this context is an additional source of raw dmg% in the overall damage calculation.

The artifact bonus just mentions that it still in effect even when off field, not MUST be off field. Besides reverie set damage boost will still be in effect if there are burning nearby so emilie does not need to be offield all the time

I’ve Been using Nahida for burning for my Gangu but I’m thinking to replace Bennett with Dehya and my Xiangling with Emilie to see if the dmg is worth. The interruption resistance will be good for Ganyu, I think the dmg will be more consistent, and double dendro hopefully will make Emilie’s dmg catch up enough to replace Bennett/Xiangling. This comp is similar to that Xiao and Xianyun's combo, both are good on other team but basically made as their perfect support. Idk about Mavuika, bur prolly she might be other alternatives best for the team

I love that she has quite some team options. Right now I’m leaning towards Dehya Jean Ayaka I had around 250 pulls and won all 50/50 for C2 I lost once on the weapon primeordial jade (which I still needed for Xiao yeay) and then I got her Signature, a solid unit!

I can't be 100% sure but my guess would be because one is an event weapon he might not have and the other two are from the shop which alternate each month and have to be bought with Starglitter.

Thinking about pulling her out of boredom. She’s a decent sub-dps. Wished her skill and burst snapshotted but that might be asking too much. Like others mentioned, she might be valuable with Natlan characters. I’m hoping the pyro archon is a buffed xiangliang+bennett substitute that can buff pyro reactions.

Some character in natlan will use burning like mavuika probably since all the character have been shown has dash skills and making mavuika look like he have a bike as skill and her being pyro and since xingqiu yelan have to use normal for they're burst mavuika have to use E so mavuika probably needs emelie for burning reaction and kinnich has the same he has to use E for her dmg which he can use emelie because burning is usefull for kinnich emelie will shine a lot in natlan since a lotof them looks like a exploration character which they're dmg comes from E or Q

I just wonder for what, outside of infinite mob spawning combat events, would I use Emilie over Nahida? Maybe a bit higher subdps if Nahida buff can't be taken advantage off, but that's a whole 5 star worth of pulls for the same experience otherwise. Can't even think of how a future team would be significantly better with Emilie instead of Nahida - unless they make *another* burning character that buffs instead of subdps akin Chevreuse with only Pyro / Dendro. Don't see them releasing both subdps *and* buffer for one specific reaction anywhere close to each other though, if ever.

Sure, she might become OP in the future, but that doesnt make her a very strong character at this moment. Also, he never mentioned this, but Emilie also barely has any AOE damage, so she will never be strong in situations with many mobs.

As a side note, Emilie's burst is so bad against single targets, but once you get it to C4 it becomes so much better. The problem is that the burst summons an orbital strike every 0.3 seconds but can only target the same enemy every 0.7 seconds. This means it summons a total of 10 orbital strikes but only 3 of those actually hit the same enemy. But at C4 she can increase it to 7 orbital strikes basically doubling her burst's damage on single targets.
