Since the creator has already deleted my comment I'll leave a "shorter" (shorter than before) thing of how to actually build teams for Kinich and what to use with the comments I see 1. What about 4pc Obsidian It's his best set, you can use it for free crit rate and you can sacrifice a lot of crit rate stats on artifacts for crit damage instead, it makes him easier and far more forgiving to build, this is almost always going to be a domain that you want to farm anyways cause it'll be (for now) the strongest domain for future Natlan DPS and supports. Alternative sets that work are (best to worst imo): 4pc Unfinished Reverie, 2pc Deepwood 2pc Golden Troupe, 2pc Deepwood 2pc ATK%, 2pc Golden Troupe 2pc ATK% 2. Don't have/want Emelie and or Dheya Grab a second dendro applicator (anyone that isn't dendro traveler (DMC), Tighnari, Alhaitham, or Kaveh) and plop 4pc Deepwood on them, they use the stats from it well and most have the off-field application to keep proccing burn and giving that dendro res shred from either their skill or burst (skill from Yaoyao and Nahida, burst from Baizhu and Collei (Collei is a last resort if you have absolutely no one else)). They also provide extra energy particles for Kinich (while not necessary, is always super nice to have). DMC doesn't work because their burst will blow up when interacting with pyro. For pyro, grab an off-field pyro applicator (Thoma or Xiangling, you need consistent pyro application), and toss 4pc Cinder City on them, if you don't have the set (the stats for the set literally don't matter, they just need to proc the 4pc effect for the 12% elm dmg buff (only 12% cause there's no Natlan characters for this FOR NOW)) and you're set, get them ER if you can and some crit rate for fav lance if you're using it on them (both characters NEED energy for rotations, so if you don't have enough ER for them it takes priority over getting 4pc Cinder City, give them a 2/4pc Emblem or 2pc Emblem 2pc Cinder City). If you don't want to use your Xiangling or Thoma, you can use Lynette instead! Give her the same sets I've mentioned previously for the pyro applicator, and she seems random, but a lot of people have recognized her capabilities in Kinich teams recently! She can deal a pretty decent amount of damage on her own, but where she shines is her AoE pyro application (which is still extremely good even for solo application!), her burst draws enemies to her Bogglecat Box (Via Taunt) which keeps enemies grouped up and easier to manage, if you have constellations on her she's even less energy intensive and more flexible than Xiangling or Thoma (since you get 2 charges of her ES), her A1 passive also provides a very nice ATK buff that gives just slightly more (by 1%) than pyro resonance (it's not a huge difference, but it makes up for some extra damage you may be missing out on) 3. What about burgeon teams? I think burgeon has the most overall damage when taking into consideration the damage of the whole team, not just Kinich. Burgeon is generally almost always going to be good since there's an excess of hydro applicators/buffers with the existence of Xingqiu, Yelan, and Furina. Furina is obviously the best, when is she not, but Xingqiu provides a little extra tankiness and his burst is super easy to recharge (especially with sac sword, if you're not using it on him that's actually insane but to each their own), and Yelan's A4 talent provides a nice DMG buff to your entire team over time just for using her burst, but if you've managed to never get any of these 3 beasts, Mona works well too! She doesn't have a lot of off-field hydro application, but she's able to taunt enemies with her skill and her burst provides a massive DMG buff to your team by making the enemies take more damage with her omen, though she's definitely not as reliable as the other three, the immediate burst damage she provides to the team is super nice to have. Edit to burgeon section: I’m surprised I forgot to mention this but burn is infinitely more comfortable and consistent to play than burgeon for Kinich As some have mentioned Kinich still does the majority of damage in these teams, I’m aware of that and I acknowledge that, but burgeon as a reaction itself deals a decent amount of damage that boosts your teams overall dps, I’m not sure if it technically does more damage than burn (I don’t run numbers, I just test the thing and if it works it works, if anyone does the number calcs do fill me in). It doesn’t outshine Kinich, but it doesn’t hurt to have if you’d prefer to play it with characters you probably already have built, just keep in mind that you still need a 4pc deepwood user on the team (burgeon’s damage will also benefit from the dendro res shred). 4. Why use Kinich burst in the middle of his ES It's purely for convenience, if you really want to sweat on him, this is how you get that extra 5th shot off (it only works in burn teams though) because while your ES duration is only extended to refund the time you spent in the burst animation, you continue to collect more nightsoul stacks from Kinich's A1 passive and the burn effect still going off during the animations, so you're able to get an ES off immediately after using his burst. It isn't required, but this in combination with some specific inputs using his ES gives you that extra 5th shot that a bunch of people are raving over right now. It's nice extra damage, but if you're casual, don't even bother with doing this, just pop your burst whenever and get your 4 shots, most things die with the first or second rotation like that anyways. Woops this was supposed to be short but it ended up way longer than expected, anyways, lmk if I missed some stuff cause I was trying to be pretty general about everything (I personally dabble a bit into theory crafting but I almost never go deep into the specific numbers and calculations, Kinich is just one of those characters that I really love and invested a lot of time into studying, still without specific numbers cause that's honestly more work than I want to go through), if you have more questions lmk I'll try to reply to them if I see them and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, have a nice day :] Here's the playlist of comps I've recorded, I'll add more if I feel like I should, but I've ranked them from most comfortable and strong to play to least (imo). @@Batha524 I wouldn't say she's better than either, but she has more flexibility than Thoma outside of burgeon and Kinich teams and allows your Xiangling to slot into other teams you may have like vape or national instead. Xiangling definitely provides the most damage out of the three of them, but Lynette gives you more overall flexibility for other potential team comps if you need Xiangling for another team and or don't want to build Thoma. Nice thing about Thoma is that he provides a nice shield that makes Kinich just easier to play without having to worry about getting staggered during his skill, and he's a good battery for himself and your team in general if you built him like I did with crit rate and a fav lance. All of this to say, Xiangling is highly flexible and deals the most damage but may need to be used in another team, Thoma provides a lot of extra safety and is generally just easier to play, and Lynette has the flexibility of being in a lot of different teams while still benefitting Kinich.

@@samzn500 It's obviously not the best, but honestly between some of the other options depending on the character, Cinder City still provides a nice 12% elemental damage buff. Of course, still not fully utilized until more Natlan supports come out, but other alternatives that work for certain characters such as Dheya like 4pc tenacity works well. Someone like Thoma can work alternatively with 4pc Noblesse if you don't already have it on someone like Bennett, and someone like Xiangling can just use a DPS set for better overall team damage output rather than just focusing on buffing Kinich. However, from my personal experience with building these characters and team comps, I've found quite a bit of success with 4pc Cinder City even with the lack of Natlan supports so far. Once again, everything is completely up to circumstance of the player's account, I plan on recording a few unlisted videos as demonstration but it won't be universally the same for everyone since my Kinich is at C1 R1, but the idea of the videos are to demonstrate team comps that do well in boosting Kinich's damage. I also have max cons on a lot of 4*s and one of the 5*s I plan on recording a team with (Mona) is actually at C4 so there's a lot of factors in the videos I plan to record for demonstration that WILL inflate the damage of my Kinich/general team far more than it would for other accounts and I'm well aware of that, but even with the damage inflation, I still firmly believe that some of these "less effective" team comps still work well even at lower cons for the characters included.

@@samzn500 I've done a bit more damage testing, I'm finding that so far, my Kinich has been dealing the most damage with a dendro 4pc deepwood (Emilie), Dheya 4pc Tenacity, and Benny 4pc Noblesse, though I have also found that Cinder City has been VERY close in terms of buffing to 4pc Tenacity on Dheya, so until a pyro Natlan support comes out, that's probably gonna be Kinich's team's best options for now. (My biggest hits on Masanori were 297.7k with 4pc Tenacity and 295.8k with 4pc Cinder City, which is honestly extremely impressive considering that's not with Cinder's full strength) For Thoma, I've hit 283.2k with 4pc Cinder City, 268k with both 4pc Emblem and 4pc Tenacity, I haven't tried Noblesse since it's redundant to give it to him with Bennett and no deepwood on him either cause Emilie's already got that covered, 4pc Tenacity was just a random test but as I suspected with it dealing the same amount of damage as Emblem, it's effect didn't last nearly long enough lol (did burst > ES to give it even a fighting chance of lasting long enough) (I only tried Tenacity cause I remember seeing a comment saying to do it with Kirara cause of her C6 but I figured that the buff wouldn't last long enough and sure enough I was right lol)

Adding emilie isnt necessary. She does not boost dmg( unless u build her with deepwood). Its a dps loss without her but she isnt needed. Also, kinich doesnt need burning to boost his dmg, it just makes his skillshot interval shorter, meaning having to dish out 3-4 shots, with 5 at max.

Emilie is subdps, she's released because she supposed to be Kinich support. If you build Emilie with em up to 1000 & basic attck to 2000+ you would see a dmg higher than this, dehya also need to used deepwood for Kinich & Emilie reaction, yet tank and bennet is supprt. because it's better to play on team.

My kinich c1 uses verdict and is at 90% crit rate after 4 piece nightsoul passive triggers and he has 190% crit dmg. My skill level is 9 and im using a burning team, bennett nobilesse and xiangling and emilie. Yet i only do 80-90k per skill, i see other people do at least 100k dmg

Tbh C6 Kirara with 4pc Cinder City would be pretty good, though I wouldn't recommend 4pc Tenacity since she doesn't actively attack enemies off field with her ES to constantly keep up the short time of Tenacity's buff, though if Kirara's C4 dealt ES damage instead of burst I'm sure Tenacity would work extremely well on her. Short buff time on Tenacity and Kirara's ES not dealing ES DoT off field makes using Tenacity difficult with Kirara, which is why when people do build her they use 2pc 2pc hp% sets just so she can give that strong shield.

Okay I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you're gonna have to bench someone. Dual DPS does not feel good to play unless it's under very specific circumstances, and Kinich/Navia is not one of the scenarios in which Dual DPS works due to their core kit mechanics Now, luckily for you: Arlecchino, Kinich, and Navia happen to share teammates so you can just swap out your DPS depending on the situation as long as you build up your supports. Bennett and Xiangling work for all 3 of them, Xingqiu works for all 3 of them, etc. Now as to your specific question of Thoma Vs Dehya: honestly, I'd say to go with Thoma if you have his C4 (even moreso with C6), otherwise Dehya might be more worth it due to her being easier to build. C4 Thoma lowers his ER requirements considerably and then he can not only be a shielder for Kinich, but he a shielder for Arlecchino at C6 (since he provides a Normal Attack Dmg bonus with that con)

Monas burst decreases opponents elemental res for a short period of time, its not that useful because it can only effect 1 opponent at a time and it doesnt last long but ppl uses her to showcase nukes

Burgeon is slightly weaker cause of his attack rotation (you want to ES > 2 NA > ES > Burst > ES > 2 NA > ES until your duration runs out) but you can’t get the ES after burst with burgeon (at least not as easily) cause it’s not constantly being activated for Kinich’s A1 passive like burn is, so you get less night soul stacks during his burst animation, but burgeon does still work well with Kinich, especially since it’s a slightly more comfortable build for Kinich with other teams in abyss wanting to use Xiangling and not everyone having either Dheya or Thoma built

If you want to do burning you can just do bennet kazuha dehya. Bennet venti dehya. Switch out dehya for xiangling or Thoma. Also kazuha uses deepwood. You can also do Lynette instead of venti or kazuha. You could also benet kazuha or furina which is as good as Emilie bennet teams.

Flame Spirit Pact Passive Talent. When u activate a nightsoul burst it increases the dmg of the 1st cannon shot by 320% of Kinich's ATK, it has 2 stacks (640%), but since we don't have good Natlan characters to combo with Kinich, he's only using 1 stack on the video

Its simple, xiangling burst is tornado, there was a moment that her burst not hit enemy because of kinich playstyle, compared to dehya skill her e is not moving

Dheya isn't definitely better than Xiangling, but because of Kinich's high mobility there's a chance that her pyronado can just not hit the enemy at all, Dheya's just generally easier to use and provides a stronger defense for your team, also with her ES being the main trigger of pyro application, it's easier to deal with without worrying about getting enough energy for Xiangling slowing down your rotations

Nahida's good for the extra dendro aplication and for running 4p deepwood, you can heven put TTODS on her to give him that 48% atk bonus. My current rotation is something like this Xianling E > Bennet Q > E > Xianling Q > Nahida E > Kinich E > go nuts with him

Any off field skill or burst applicator will work with deepwood but it will be terribly average especially since nahida does not deal reasonable damage in burning she deals like 10k-18k 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@lunebyeol7880 c6 collei isn’t too bad just gotta build her attack 🙂 she’s like 4 star emilie her damage isn’t comparable but she deals damage if you pop her burst on a bennet burst but it’s effectively a circle so if they run out of it that’s all the damage gone. Out of all the character you have I’d say c6 Collei is best kinich support if she’s not c6 just use nahida or c2 furina🤷🏾‍♂️ should have gone for the emilie run unlucky

its actually quite easy to achieve 3 canon shots without burning, and its not like 5 where you need specific circumstances. All it takes is for you to not pause and try to go the right way, it gets easy with practice as the next point shows up while kinich shoots his canon shot so you have a bit of time to see where to go next

@@elwndelpueblodef not DMC, DMC’s burst will blow up and lose the dendro application when interacting with pyro, Nahida, Yaoyao, and Baizhu are all suitable replacements for Emilie and more people have (at least Nahida and Yaoyao) than Emilie. They all work well with 4pc deepwood without compromising their own personal DPS, and you can free up Dheya for 4pc millineth or the natlan support set. Collei can work but she’s not as good as the others since her burst only works in an area around the enemies, and if you’re fighting multiple enemies or an enemy with high mobility she becomes useless. But Lynette also works in place of Dheya or the other pyro applicators, she can taunt enemies with her burst, apply a lot of aoe pyro, iirc she has some heals in her kit, and her A4 talent (I think) provides an attack buff stronger than pyro resonance, also can be ran with 4pc deepwood or natlan’s support set.

U can use chevreuse. Also this really isn't a downside since arlechino, clorinde, nahida, wriothesley, wanderer, xiao, ganyu, lyney, hu tao etc etc all like bennet for their strongest theoretical teams. If u don't have Benny u can use chevreuse as a healer. Or if you want buffs basically just run him with 2 sub dps and 1 sustain while having one of those with deepwood. You can also use electro teams btw so like fischls, yae, beidou, kuki, xingqui, Raiden E, yelan etc.
