John often points out how silly the show is, but I really love that about the tone. It's almost cartoonish, which just makes it super comfy to listen to. Probably my favorite overall aspect to the show, outside the characters themselves (including Gus).

Why does Matit always have to butt into what is the other players interaction to steal away from them? I’m finding him to be the irritating one in the group. It seems more times than not, he says “Matit does this as well” whenever someone tried to investigate something, ESPECIALLY when Elga does something. (Forgive me for misspelling names)

So Ellga is old: does she just act like a kid or does she still have the mind of a kid? I think in the early episodes she said she had an adult mind and only acted like kid, but that seems to have evolved in the play through and she just seems like a kid now.

I always imagined that the physical changes to one’s brain didn’t continue for Ellga, so mechanically it is a child’s brain. Her long life of experiences and memories will definitely influence what data is processed - she has seen how the world works - but the data is still pushed through a child-like processor. Almost the opposite of someone like Sprite from The Eternals, who [spoilers for Eternals] . . was basically the same machine/processor as the other Eternals but in a child-shaped android chassis. She then became human, having her old “adult” brain in a child body that then ages normally….? Maybe? 😂

That sounds about right. I'm guessing her brain stopped developing at the point where she became a vampire so she will still act like a child in some ways, just a child with a lot of memory and life experience.

I hear you. It’s why KZbin is such a bad platform for some podcasts. Every single field is a datapoint for the algorithm and sometimes needs to be tuned accordingly (“or else” 👻 ). If you’re already subscribed on those other platforms, say FIRST on the RT site, you’ll get a more authentic presentation (and it’s likely a better platform to support them on than KZbin).
