Nice! I was rather intimidated by your sheets being in C#, which I'm not used to reading (so many sharps!) My transcription of your arrangement is in Db, which is the exact same key as C#, but a lot more commonly used and readable

My notifications were on, but I somehow missed this upload! What a neat piece and I totally heard the hints of "Love's Old Sweet Song", and had to check the video description to see if I was imagining things. When I was 17 years old [and for a few years after] I got a job in our local senior's home to play music for the residents there 2 times a week! [I was sooo nervous] I learned so many oldies and one of them was a tattered piece of sheet music given to me by a resident of [you guessed it], "Love's Old Sweet Song". Thanks for bringing back this retro memory! Great musical interpretation and navigating those voicing changes between hands too.

Woah, that's so cool! I'd really like to land a job playing for seniors. As a series I'm doing on the channel I'm covering music by "The Caretaker" - it's a whole rabbit hole to get into, but suffice to say it samples from ballroom music that seniors of today would have listened to growing up. The tracks are listed under different names, but this is indeed "Love's Old Sweet Song" under the hood. Thank you for your story, if only you had found the upload earlier!

It's actually sampled from a really old song - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love%27s_Old_Sweet_Song - as part of Everywhere at the end of time (a fascinating musical project about dementia that you should look up!)
