Looking forward to when the Spirit C1 is purchasable in-game. Seems like a fun ship! This Christmas was pretty low key, just visiting with immediate family which was good. I'm covering this week's on-call shift with work, but I'll probably take some time off in the new year after the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

Bro I've become obsessed with running full ballistics now. I'm going to start collecting ballistic weapons to have for all of my (2) ships lol. Those are crazy even with limited ammo.

My wife got me a fire pit for Christmas, so I can make a fire in the yard. When it comes to ballistics, I don't really use them on ships I intend for combat, I'm just not good enough to really make the hits count. I do have ballistic guns on my Cutlass Red and Origin 325A, which I mainly just use for getting from place to place, the point of the weapons on those ships is just for me to put enough hurt on an attacker so that I can get away.

You should get a copilot with a tractor rifle to swap the guns if they run out of ammo mid fight lol. Or better yet, stuff a Fury in the trunk for backup!

They need to add in auto loaders for ballistics and then nerf the damage some to compensate. A happy medium is what's needed. I wouldn't mind hauling around crates of ammo and chain feeding it to the loader or something for a somewhat less hassle sustainability. So instead of going back for refills every fight you stay out for 2,3 or 4 fights before going back for refills base on the class of loader/capacity and how much ammo you are carrying around.

I love using ballistic weapons, but the ammo is so low, even for big ships. Would be cool if the ships had some internal ammo storage that could reload the weapons a couple of times before needing to restock.

Or just give it more ammo. Bigger gatlings get more ammo after all, so why shouldn't there be more charges in a gun that uses smaller ammo? I use the size 5 gatling and it lasts enough for a number of missions

you shot one spot continually which killed hammerhead and yes cannons are way better i feel like Gatlings should have more ammo even its 800 hit damager per rounds but you ran out quickly and not sure i feel like cannon do more damage and hope x1 comes to ingame store soon

Have you tried activate VTOL and then use combined forward thrust and upstrafe to do tight corkscrews around enemies with the C1? I tried doing that with a cutty once but it loses to much forward thrust, the C1 should not have that issue 🤔
