My both characters dealing more dmg and im using better sups like citlali but i still cant pass 12.2 what am i doing wrong ah and i dont have yelan im using mona with hu tao what should i do and i dont have good pyro goblet on hu tao bu shes still deal 130k c0

This abyss is about rapidly doing elemental damage. So character like Mona, while powerful during regular fight, will be severely limited by the enemy's shield. The shield can broken by hitting it with elemental attack. So character that can deal damage rapidly will be able to break it quickly. But that's where the problem start because every characters have different way to deal damages. This is why subdps with rapid attacks like Xingqiu or Yelan can break it easily. Burning team is also great choice, because of its rapid elemental damage. The same can be said with hyperbloom team, although it will suffer in 12-1 due to cryo shields. Other than that, the only character that can reliably break the shield are Kinich and Chasca, due to how their attack works and their nightsoul ability. I don't think it's about skill issue. This is really just a badly designed enemy mechanics. These kind of enemies is fine for challenges in the open world. But during time-gated challenge, those shields just make things hard, but for the wrong reason.
