A good ride height is 80-40 or sometimes 75-40.

im looking to build an air ride system for a truck, the d26000 bags have a usable stroke of 9.3 ish inches, does that mean i can run the truck at fully extended, or should i keep ride height an inch or so below that. i will be towing with the truck, and i am not sure if i will be able to get the hight i want running the bag on the axle.

I usually ride at bag at 2/3 inflated. 80 psi in front 40 in back. With towing it adds a lot more pressure in the back so I’m not sure about that.

I just got my air ride all installed. Can you give me some air pressure ranges that you tend to drive with? This is the first time I’ve had air ride and I got a porter built frame 62 C1 I’m just trying to see what are some ranges you drive your bags at?

My “safe” drive height is 80 front and 50 back. If I’m riding straight and low I can do 75-40. Lowest setting where I just drive straight is 70-30.

In one of your videos you mentioned installing a toggle switch to manually shut off the compressors. I tried to disable the compressors in the settings of the controller, but that will only apply for 1 ignition cycle. Which wire do you install the toggle into.

I install a switch on the pink wire going to fuse box.

Depends on how low you are. 18s with small tires would be the largest and still be able to turn without getting into the fender but I had 20s on a 69’chevy. It would rub inners on a wide turn but I could drive with them.

Does the air management system still work after flipping the switch?

No. If you’re trying to only switch on the compressors then you would need to run a switch on a relay. I like to be able to get in my truck, start it, and then turn on the air management system. I don’t like everything turning on at the same time.

I’ve never had accuair so I couldn’t compare. I’ve used it multiple times and it’s been great. Salvage to savage uses it always and a lot of big shops do. They had a large booth at sema as well.

Air ride suspension serves a few different needs and wants. Lots of us are into low riders but want to be able to adjust the height of our ride on roads with construction or pot holes. Also it’s mainly a form of show. Most people that build vehicles consider them a work of art and we enjoy them by driving and displaying them at car shows.
