c2c - London to Shoeburyness | TSW4 Route Suggestions

This is the one UK route I want to see in TSW (either this or the Conwy Valley Line - Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog). But, knowing DTG, they'll probably cut off the branches via Basildon and Ockendon while lazily reusing the section through Rainham from SEHS. If they did leave out any part of the route, I would refuse to buy the add-on. I reckon that, if DTG can't work out a licensing deal with c2c, they could set the route in the Network Southeast era instead, complete with older slam-door EMUs like the Class 302 or Class 310. Surprisingly, we still haven't got any slam-door EMUs in the game yet, despite having at least one slam-door DMU (the Class 101).

Routes we need with the trains London kings cross to kings lynn including the hertford loop London kings cross to Peterbrough London lvp strt to Colchester South london network to horsham inclusing all southern stations between london vic/bridge and Epsom-caterham-tanham corner-redhill etc. Just all those tid bits More southeastern routes And so on The trains we need are the 465 BRUSH/HITACHI Class 717 Class 377/6n7 Class 745 And so on

Nice suggestion. Another thing I would add, is that from riding on C2C in real life, the timetable is very harsh, making the basic 'one handle' driving more interesting than on, for example, the Gatwick express, requiring more use of high braking and acceleration. And one little thing - pretty sure the C2C 387s aren't out of service, they are just in service with other operators that also operate 387s (e.g. GN and GWR) :-)

I recon the GEML Liverpool Street to Ipswich would be better than this. We’ve already got a ton of electrostars and if we got the modern day GEML we could have the 720 and 345 for metro and commuter services… maybe even get the 745 for express… I can’t be the only one who thinks the GEML to Ipswich would be a good idea😅

Route suggestion: London Liverpool Street-Norwich. Lots of new scenery and stations. It will be a long route however there should be a few variants of trains such as the class 745,720 and possibly the 345 aswell. Overall i think this would be a good route as there are some highly used stations such as Stratford, Ipswich,London Liverpool Street and Colchester.

I really want this because I live on the c2c network.. HS1 runs between Dagenham and Purfleet. I think Dovetail would add the shortest route (Fenchurch Street to Grays via rainham) because the longest route (via basildon) would get boring. I think they might also add the route via Ockendon because it not too short and not too long. Also, I think they will be more likely to add the class 357( like you said) because c2c don't use the 387 anymore, and the class 720 are very new. I could be completely wrong, though. This is because these train was given too other operators. These were GWR and Great northen. Then c2c decided to use them on one return service a day around 5pm. This was from Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness. After this they just stopped running because it was forgotten about c2c's social media. These were also just sitting on depot at East ham or on Shoeburyness sidings doing nothing. Then c2c made the call to stop running these in August 2022.

That will b 5 routs into London thing is if we do get that route DTG will probably only do half the route and plus there’s only one operator York to Sheffield would be a good route as it has high speed operation as well as commuter traffic
