-I logged in As I remember I had no hunger bar. I could barely swim fast to the little ship I made on my water. It was my ship made out of wooden planks with only one block of room down a little long hallway and at the top 3 blocks of room to walk on deck. I Had my house maybe about two stories tall with a cauldron upstairs. A creeper blew up my front door and I fixed it in time, always looking at the little creeper painting pretending one was looking into my house. I remember placing my nether portal on top of my base, the enchantment table I built and a random stairway that went to the sky limit. The sky stairs were very simplistic by design and dangerous but I loved it because I had no care in the world if it stood out, I loved playing minecraft without a care about that sort of stuff. The Land I lived in was green with some beaches and blue with an ocean like river outside my base that my ship rested on. I would go to the ship with my usable boat just to fish in that area with my ship. Near my base I would break into a small hill and make a cafe that my mom named. I placed a cake in that cafe, I wonder if I finished it. I remember the enderman update coming and hiding up those giant stairs I built. Idk if I was casting a bunch of shadow but I remember when the update hit, alot of endermen spawned all on the ground and I was terrified. I just did archer practice on the stairs with my bow and wool target at the time and I don't even know if the bow could pull back or not I can't remember now. I remember the hunger bar being added and being so confused thinking minecraft was ruined, good times. The world is gone forever, probably. Last time I remember logging in to that world the update turned my world grey. The ocean river my boat rested on turned all into ice with my boat being stuck. Snow covered all the beaches and grass. Everything was so silent. The world had grown cold and grey snowing almost everyday. I walked away from my base leaving it all behind. My dogs, my items. I ran through the snow and dug out a small base for the night in a cave. I made my red bed, crafting box, furnace, door and torch to light the room. - I logged off

I had a nice creative world, everything was made on top of trees, in a giant spruce tiaga, nearly every structure was made of diorite, polished, ofcourse, i used normal and redstone torches, i was very obsessed with torches back in the day, i remember going to a tree and replacing it with tnt, then showing it my friend while be both watched it blow up, or that one time i made my main diorite base so huge that i made it a sky scraper, and the top was made of gold ore, not blocks, ore, with minecarts and rails all around, also with my huge rail network on the ground, that didnt quiet work, or that one time i accidentally blew up 3 floors of my skyscraper with a tnt minecart. good times. good times

@@Philip-du9uc I feel our experience with Minecraft can sometimes be so specific and unique. The Gold ore part and a skyscraper sending an explosion off with the tnt cart haha. It's just a peak into our mind before we got tired of the blocks and before we saw these blocks as nothing but "SILLY and childish to even think of building with stupid gold ore". I remember my friend built a base that was just a huge wooden planks floor on a mountain surrounded by trees. He had a moat so no one could get him under the dark shade that huge wooden floor casted. The wooden floor had torches all over it and they always said that "I have not even built the WALLS YET!". The last time they played a friend got them to download a plane mod. Said plane crashed into his base burning it down with tears and anger to follow. The game froze over the sound of an explosion repeating. It was pretty fun but also really sad lol

It was 2013, my childhood best friend would let me in his house and play multiplayer on xbox for hourss. We built a large house on survival mode, we made maps, we stacked up on food and went far away to find items and mine. We'd struggle to find our way back home after a good adventure, but we never gave up looking for our house because it was the bro house Lol, we put so much time into it. We found the house in the end. In 2015, we moved 500 miles away and I wouldnt be able to see my best friend every day anymore... we drove away, and he stood there and waved slowly goodbye. I still played minecraft after that, but it never had that spark anymore without my best friend there with me, but I'll never forget the amount of memories that we had on minecraft back then, this song really brings me back. ❤️

Man I love those videos. Mainly because of the Music and nostalgia but also because of all the different, individual stories from all around the world. But not just any stories. Stories that are connected through the feeling of being free and innocent only worrying what we wanna build next. A feeling so long forgotten, revived by listening to simple Piano notes in a game about placing blocks. Those videos are like a KZbin Checkpoint for everyone to share what they’ve experienced. It’s not the musical masterpiece you would think of but those songs and the game define a whole generation. It’s our masterpiece. Man, listening to this really just wants me to go back or tell younger me to enjoy every single moment of life. That creating a world and thinking about it years later. It hurts so much. But I also love it. It really shows, that this is by now more than just a game. For many it’s their childhood. I have heard that the last thing people with Dementia can recall is music. For me it will probably be one of those songs without even knowing where it comes from. But that doesn’t matter because I will know that I was happy. Thanks to everyone who shares their stories. I grew up watching Minecraft videos. When I was younger I did not understand English very well, so I couldn't follow the ones people who could did. Despite having a different experience, some memories are the same. Minecraft music videos were one of the few English videos I could watch, and I clearly remember Animations vs Minecraft. How fast time flies by… I rethinked my life listening through the song.. I remember that one time through 2015-2021, I had great times with family and friends… even though there was also bad times as well. When it was 2023-2022, it almost all disappeared. I sometimes got through hard times by my own.. even though I thinked I was overreacting or being dramatic. Now sometimes frequently, my brother and sister (sometimes my mom) would always get in fights over something stupid… and i wonder why they get a bit easily angry But we still have good times.. it just became a bit dim. I used to play this game a lot, and I mean a lot-all the hours spent with my friends and all the time in singleplayer. I remember i was building and i found this black cat by a red mushroom. I remember i had a black cat and he ran away and died cause he didn’t want us to be heartbroken to see him die. When I listen to this song I always remember when my brother played MineCraft with me, we created several worlds and after a few months he stopped playing because they sold my xbox 360, I went on playstation to play the problem that I had limitation only in the afternoon I could play and when I got home I always fed my dog I kept killing the ender dragon in creative because I didn't know how to play properly, I miss that time, and also when I played on the playstation I met a lot of friends.We created a group called the watermelon family, don't care about the name I was 5 years old when they created the group, and agent had fun but I didn't really know what was right and wrong and in 2018 I summoned an ender dragon at my group's birthday party because a guy says that if you pawn you get a sword, After that everyone blocked me and I met other friends, we used to play together, that was 2017... 7 YEARS AGO, and like now I'm in seventh grade, my friends abandoned me again. And today I take care of many things and whenever I play with Lego or play Minecraft I miss my friends that today some are no longer with me...

My parents just had friends over. I was sitting on the dusty dining room floor with my brother playing splitscreen minecraft on his xbox. It was nighttime both in and out of game, and I was out looking for a wolf to tame. I found one but I didn’t have enough bones, so my brother teleported to me and gave me some. We went home through the spruce forest to our little oak plank house with nothing but four torches, two beds, a furnace, and some chests. That night was the latest me and my brother have stayed up at that age: 12:00am. My parents didn’t disturb us, seeing as we were having so much fun. My brother spent all his time looking for a swamp to find slimes, and he was gone for three minecraft days. When he came back unsuccessful, he decided to go look for other materials to kill time. He went around the back of the house and saw a swamp just a couple blocks away. We started dying laughing and soon enough it was nighttime - time to kill some slimes. His mission was complete, and me being the younger brother i did everything he did, so my mission was complete as well. We looked at each other through sleepy eyes and decided to log off after this last song ended - dry hands. It eventually ended with a long, sad silence. That night was the last night we logged off together as he moved his consoles into his room for more privacy when he’s gaming with friends. From then on i played alone, but it never felt the same and it never will.

i sometimes wonder when did everything go wrong, but then i realize it was always like this the lonliness, isolation, seperation from everybody and everything i know for no apparent reason. that funny feeling i get in my chest when i realise just how alienated i am from everything around me. how less different the world would be without me in it Insignificant. it was always like this, just as a kid i was ignorant. Blissfully ignorant Id just go about my days off in my own world, uncaring about anything else. Playing minecraft, building all sorts of things that, looking back now, looked horrible, but they were special to me. I wish i could go back to being ignorant, to being oblivious to the way others viewed me Different, annoying, weird. Wrong. Nothing lasts forever though, really. Back then. Me and my brother were used to play Minecraft on Our ps3, psvita. Everywhere. On the psvita there is an map with a hotel, made from my brother. It was comfy. And i loved upgrading it. I put minecarts as trains. Put music. Build Sculptures of my fav minecraft youtubers. A football stadium. Anything. I also placed a lot of tnt under the Hotel for emergency… that was my mistake. One time i wanted to make the train go faster with redstone and i heard this szzz, i knew i destroyed this Hotel. the upper parts is kind of there but its gone. I made a funeral for it. I put flowers around it like i lost someone special. I was so sad. Also sad for my brother to destroy what he had build. So I built a „Hotel 2“ with lot more space to sleep. Made of iron. Just premium. I also made a special room to sleep that should give vibes of the old hotel 1, also making an entrace to get to the other hotel 1. because i upgraded hotel 2 so much i decided to name it hotel 3. it is unbelievable what memories one map had… (ladies and gentlemens. I somehow still got the map fully functional)
