C43 AMG Build Series Dyno Day

In this series, we will go over the dyno numbers and footage from that day.
This took place at Solo Motorsports on Jimmy Carter Blvd. Thank you Boris for your help and tune.
Later on I will be experimenting with E85 and we will see how much we can push this platform.

Is it the factory ECU that is being tuned? Do you know what software is being used to tune it?

Yes it is the factory ecu, but I don't know which software is used to tune ecu and tcu.

What year is the car ??

2016 c450 amg or according to mercedes, now known as 43 amg. ;)

@@AMGChronicles1but thats not the same, c450 has a 7 Gear and the c43 9 Gear Speedshift

@@C43BEAST Microfiche does not show it as c450 amg anymore. While i was at the dealer I asked them "are you sure we are looking at the same parts" and they told me that within Mercedes there is no difference anymore. So not sure what to call it anymore :)

are u tuned on e30?

I would presume I am. Tune suggest that if I mix E85 (up to 4 gal) and the rest premium, it should bring me up to E30 and that would be good for the engine.

@@AMGChronicles1 420 whp w/ turbos all those support mods on e30 is terrible number ( no hating ) is your tuner keeping it on low boost ? u should be makin 490whp on that set up , ik it save to keep right under 500whp

@@AMGChronicles1 i’ve ran e30 on my 43 i put 4-5 gallons. but if ur not tune for it ion think i makes huge diff with 93 oct tune ,

We can push for even more but, we have to consider that I would like to have this as daily and abuse it as much as I want. If we push too much and I break the engine then it defeat its purpose. At some point I will build the engine to support 5-600 hp or more so I can enjoy it without the worry of breaking it.

I can confirm with the tuner, but I would assume it is. Otherwise not sure why he would suggest it.

You have to run meth on those cars they love it especially top end
