C43 shows a little smoke after the S55 engine swap

should be just over 360hp. It's the same M113 V8 in the w210 E55, w208 CLK55, w163 ML55. Bolts right into a C43, which was built with the same engine but smaller displacement. Depending on which car you sourced your engine from, you may have to get the ECU swapped as well. Best bang for your buck is finding a ragged C43 and doing an engine swap. Crazy fun and very reliable and practical!

There's some disagreement as to whether or not you'd need to swap the transmission. I think the stock transmission is the same one, but I've heard otherwise. C36 is my all time favorite AMG :)

@kbcarroll very nice the 55 engine out of the clk should fit the easiest, do I need to change the transmission also ? sound tempting I currently have a 290hp c36 love it but a 5.5 in a 202 is great :)
