C6 CORVETTE IS READY TO DRIFT!! ... Kinda...

I'm so close to drifting the corvette!!! New rotors fixed the hydro problem, we added a relay to the fans for safety, got some BMW wheels and face more power steering issues :P
We'll get it dialed though, and this thing is going to be WILD!!!

I'm a local truck driver and I've sat at a light for left turn through 5 light cycles almost 15min.. It helps inching forward few inches and slamming on the brakes to trigger the stop light trigger... I eventually ran that red light when no cars were coming for far as I could see 🙈 😂

Technically the GM bolt pattern is not the same as BMW. I see this weekly in the fbody groups too. They will fit, but you'll be putting extra stress on the wheel studs. Just scoop up some Vette knockoffs from oewheels or craigslist. Better safe than in a wall with 5 busted studs.

Why didn't you wire the fans into the stock temperature based switch the car has? Is that not ideal for drifting or is the harness that destroyed?

Take those old hydro pads and do the old by hand resurfacing job, find a nice flat concrete surface then put them face down and swirl them in a circular motion until there flat, then boom you have some good back ups!

I had a similar issue with power steering in my C6. I replaced the pump and eventually the rack. Side note: I have to replace my power steering fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid after every event.

The stock tune has the fan come on at about 220 so she'd need to get a tune just to take advantage of the lower temp thermostat which she hasn't gotten to do

Trim that cover between the seats, so you have a good 1/2" So it doesn't ware a hole in whatever you cover it with, but also to clear enough not to pinch your finger in between. Probably won't happen in that spot, but it might
