Wifi is compulsory for these camera's during the initial setup. After that you can remove it but again for viewing you will need the wifi. This is so because this is a wifi based camera.

They are almost same. Only difference is in the fps, C6N has 15 fps whereas C6CN has 25 fps.

C6CN is better but the difference is in FPS, which is not so much for normal usage. hence, C6N is also a good option
