As far as the seat goes, although it may not be ideal there are certain seats that are lower profile and allow you to sit lower in the car. Cleetus McFarland is pretty tall guy and he had to change out the seat on his C7 to fit in it. The seat he got is a “Tillett B5”

Glad to hear you don't want to do Coilovers to delete the mag ride. I do think you should also ceramic coat the shocks so stuff doesn't stick to them as much. I did it to mine and it does help. I love to hear your take on these and it messes with the Purists. I badge deleted mine and have center caps that say "OK BooMer" that I 3D Printed just for the memes.

Hey man. I just caught up on all the z06 videos. I hear you are having major trouble with the seating position. Have you looked into a replacement seat or perhaps modifying the seat mounts? I know the factory mounts take up a lot of space.

I haven't taken the seat out yet, but I don't think there is much room. I would need a race seat to gain any height. I have no interest in sitting in a race seat for extended periods of time. Nice seats like a Recaro Sportster isn't going to gain any height.

I am on my 5th C7 Z06 a 2019 model, GM revised the suspension tune which is much better than previous years.DSC is on another level. I have tried all the CAI and they were all so so as far as fit and finish, I preferred the AFE Intake. I currently use the drop in filter by Berger and for the 100 bucks if feels as good as any of the CAIs. I also use the Vitesse throttle control which feels like you gain 100hp but in reality add zero hp, but my throttle is very on point. The PORTED throttle body I have tried several I like Katech. Keep up the cool videos. Check out Fasterproms Jeremy Formato best tuner around he does many many C7s.

that hall tec intake is a huge letdown for nearly 2 grand. it makes the power but i bet you could run an aluminum tube from vibrant to the throttle body and toss a pod filter on it and make power too

I am a little perplexed, as you are worrying and compensating big for trying to get the C7 on an alignment rack. Why not just find an alignment shop that has In ground alignment so you can just drive in the bay?

APR also has the quarter vents and the fenderwell extensions that you should buy. But as you will find out soon the APR stuff might need some modifications to fit, if you want the best fit you can also buy the ZR1 quarter vents that are also carbon fiber for the perfect fit (part #84347359), but they are also $2k. APR also has the mirrors. I have all the APR stuff on mine and mine is black but with a white car it should look absolutely stunning. You see pics of the parts on the car on insta @z06_cali. Also try www.rpidesigns.com/ to order your APR stuff, they are cheaper than APR directly and have free shipping. Im not affiliated with them but they have great service
