I echo those those who love this video. It has exactly what you need to know if you are seriously considering which exhaust to buy for your C8. I could not find a single video during my search that included stock Z51 vs. AWE at startup, during idle, and with revs using a decibel meter. Again, invaluable info if you have to combine an exhaust you love and neighbors you like. That said, the track exhaust is every bit of 110-120 decibels on startup and it stays loud until the idle settles after about 30 seconds.

This is the best comparison between stock and AWE Track that I have come across so far. Well done! I am still unable to decide between the AWE Track or Touring. Do you ever feel that the Track is too loud, and wish that you had gone with Touring? Also, have you had any heat issues with the exhaust? Thanks!
@Lazc8 Жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful. No heat issues with the exhaust, nor have I heard of any from other owners. Personally, I wish it was even louder lol. If you are sensitive to even slight drone I’d say maybe go touring. The good thing is you can buy a conversion kit from them if you change your mind.

Track exhaust all the way, touring is not loud enough
@RoHFCoder Жыл бұрын
@@ivannitro6822 Agreed. I bought the AWE touring and then switched to the AWE track version. Perfect.

Have you experienced droning in any specific gears? Thank you kindly.
@Lazc89 ай бұрын
Not in specific gears - only related to accelerating in V4 mode. Really depends on how you drive it / throttle control so you only hit V4 AFM while cruising rather than accelerating. I had no complaints about track setup. Touring is a great option too if any concerns.

@@Lazc8 ah! I missed the words “track” in the description. Yes I will be going with the touring option.

Excellent infotainment. Now if the AWE Touring exhaust was also included, then this video would be _the_ optimal comparison on KZbin. Still a great contrast between the Stock vs AWE Track nonetheless. Stay classy my friend.

Maybe I can find a local c8 with the AWE Touring setup and make this happen 🤔

@@Lazc8 You would get a tremendous amount of views. Just maintain the same format for all three comparisons. More importantly, make sure you keep the title of the video straightforward similar to this one. Then just sit back and enjoy the increase in traffic to the channel. Stay classy my friend.

This is also a great comparison of low wing and regular z51 wing. That could also help people in making a decision on wing specs. I personally love the regular z51 wing. But thats my preference everyone has their own preferences.

The AWE sounds really great. How is the drone inside the cabin? Thanks!
@Lazc8 Жыл бұрын
None that I’d consider “drone”. By that I mean there isn’t drone at cruising speeds part throttle, regardless of mode. The only odd sound is when AFM V4 mode is on and you’re accelerating staying in v4, which totally depends on your throttle control. Watch the video I have with the AWE touring setup comparison. It still sounds great and silences the v4 sound.

Great video! Does the AWE need simulators if you are swapping out the NPP exhaust?
@Lazc86 ай бұрын
Thanks and yes it comes with simulators. Plug n play, zero issues.

@@Lazc8 thanks for the response. I think this is the exhaust I'm going with!
