My question is how far can one build that motor without messing up the electric motor.. I always wish I had the cash to build the new nsx engine and add bigger turbos but I always thought you couldn’t because of the electric motor

​@@lsjess4147 Not 💯 on this but the electric ⚡ motor is a separate system which is good until about 110 mph before it deactivates to run engine only! Technically the engine being modded shouldn't interfere with the E-Rays electric ⚡ motor aspect, but again I'm not 💯 on this! -Shane

I had one of these done at a speed shop in NC, and i could not agree more with Steven, mine gained 180 rwhp and drives and shifts great. I dont beat on it just like to feel the acceleration 30 to 130, and it will pin you to the seat. Clucth seems fine, my only concern is from a dig breaking drive shaft. But i dont do that anyways( go from a dig). If your driving along at 15-20 mph and stab it even with traction control on ,it will get away from you if your not carful . The sound is awsome as well, i put a Borla exhaust. Very happy with whole package. If i lived closer to LMR they would certainly be my shop of choice. Keep up the great work guys.

@@keemerbecks3941 No idea, no idea what top speed was stock ( They say 180ish) , and never had an opportunity to try it before or after( where is there anyplace to go 180 to 200mph). Having said that, it has almost 200rwhp , I didn’t do it for top speed, the sound, acceleration 30 to 100 mph acceleration is significantly better as is all ranges, when you pull out to pass someone, you have to be a bit careful, as it could get away from you. It’s very fun to drive.

They have been working fine on these power levels. On our twin turbo 1000+ systems we upgrade them.

I'm not knocking it, but I'm confused. In 2020 C&D tested the C8 1/4 mile at 122 MPH in 11.2s. The ProCharger adds an additional minimum of 39% more power to the ground but only shaves 1-2 tenths of a second to reach over 120 MPH? Even if it were 5 tenths, wouldn't that still be considered a minor improvement for that much additional power? I figured it would be hitting mid 10s at 135 on regular pavement.

On a track this car will run mid 10s. The 60ft on the street was only 1.8s, compared to track where you will see solid 1.6-1.5 60ft times. 👍

at this point a bigger blower won't really help. There is still a low boost ceiling set on the ecu. If the ECU could be actually tuned like traditional methods they could probably get 700RWHP from the P-1

Just going off the top of my head, this build cost me about 35k with parts and labor. 2200 for America Racing headers, 1200 for fabspeed header heat blankets, 2400 for performance axels, 18k for the supercharger kit and about 12k on the labor to install all the goodies. I know that pro charger claims the kit can be installed at home and I thought about having my in-house fleet mechanics install it but there so much more that goes into it on the technical side so I chose to have the experts do it so they can work out any problems. I’m sure glad I had LMR install it because they did have to work out some kinks that would have stalled my fleet mechanics. Oh and the titanium exhaust cost me 3k at paragon performance, they also have a chrome version that is only 2k and its the same design and sound, just a bit more heavier since titanium is lighter. I believe LMR also has a titanium exhaust that they sell.
