Sir in these question while we consider calculating NPV by opening mine from 1st year onwards then since they have given ₹10, 00,000/- during 0th year then we don't need to find Value of that Cash outflow during 1st year then subtract it from PV of cash flow calculated till first year.

I was really tensed about this chapter because i couldn't find the correct lecture for this. I have seen videos of too many teachers but somehow I wasn't getting the interest in the chapter. I just used to see 10- 15 minutes of their lecture and skip to something else. Finally today i found this lecture. I was absolutely engrossed in it since the starting. Depreciation rate nikalne ke liye cost se salvage minus krke years se divide krte hain, but rate of depreciation is given here, so it will apply directly on cost

I think its bcoz, we find depreciation rate by deducting salvage value. the depreciation rate is itself given therefore no need reduce the salvage value again..
