Whether set off is possible if i got exemption in law 80+ . Giving the remaining papers in next attempt..... Remaining 220 marks can ve at any paper aggreagte plus 40 marks per paper.......or for grp 2 i need get an aggregate of 50 per paper.??

Dear Student, Yes, set-off is possible if you have scored 80+ marks and claimed an exemption in Law. The remaining 220 marks will need to meet the aggregate requirement across the other papers in Group 1, with at least 40 marks in each paper. For Group 2, you will need to achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate across all papers and at least 40 marks per paper in that group to clear it. Hello Sir, I have passed CA inter group-1 in Nov 2018. Acc- 64, Law - 53, Cost Acc - 48, Tax - 40. So now Under New Scheme should I write both groups or will I be exempted from Grp - 1? And in Grp - 2 should I write Cost accounting again? Request you to kindly clarify my doubt. Thank you Sir.
