The fact is most CAs still struggle than not and that's down to the fact that curriculum and studies are structured such that we tend to focus on the content than how to present it generally. It's only when we get into a job that we learn. That said exceptions are always there and some are just born with a thing to talk and communicate better. But it can be worked upon with time n practice

Haha! Nothing sort of journey... Wrote CAT exam when i was in CA final.. Got a decent score. After that got into a decent college.. Not that easy i know.. But this is the standard process which i believe everyone of us follows after CAT. But honestly, once u are into CA curriculum things become less difficult for u. That's the strength of our syllabus, i can say, the exam pattern, pressure management... CA is just not a degree, it teaches u the way of life. And to talk about this video, if i knew this earlier i would have been able to make wise decisions for myself. This doesn't mean i regret my decisions but yeah, it could be wiser. So just go through this video thoroughly & decide wisely what u want to pursue.

I would like to add some points about MBA !! Entrance exams would be easy for engineering students as they have developed some suitable skill set for CAT examination but for Selection process Engineers , commarce , arts, doctors every specific group is Competing within that group only Engineers V/S engineers, Doctor V/S Doctor this way for getting calls or getting selected for interview and Group discussion. ( Institute have made 6 divisions for selection as per graduation degree and there is maximum limit in each division so in other terms 1 to 1.5 lac Engineers are competing for 1000 seats for first round of selection while 20 thousands arts students are competing with each other for 1000 seats) So engineering students don't have advantages over other in Selection process. It's usually hard to get in top MBA institute for engineers Compared to non engineers. For an example General engineering male student have to score more than 99%ile to get in top 10 B- schools while general commarce graduate have to score 92-98%ile to get in same institutes! And about Engineers are more in every Top B school More than 60% engineers are coming from IIT's and NIT's. They are already brilliant student as per their past academics due to which they tend to perform well in 2nd round of selection ( Group discussion and Interview) where in second round everyone is equal and everyone competing with each other.

37:27 sir jo 2 3 saal entrece pe lagaye vo esi baat nhi h ki waste hai uske around aap 2 3 saal me bhot se govt job k competetive exam de skte ho for example SSC CGL,banking exam, railway exam, even defence services k jo exam because while you prepare for CAT your quant and verbal gets strong and in all those competetive exams quant and verbal play crucial role. although you also need GK AND GS But again if you prepare well for cat then these exams will be a cake walk for you.❤️ Hence please don't be baised towards CA only.

Completely useless to kuch bhi padhna nahi hota but I personally feel that CA Inter level syllabus is much more relevant in practical life than CAT syllabus or the syllabus of any entrance competitive exam. I would like to add that MBA abroad is much easier to do in countries like USA or UK if one spends about 50 lacs .... the return on investment (roi) will be about 75 lacs p.a. even in an ordinary MBA college .

absolutely great analysis , it's unfair MBA which is a Management degree who intakes minority undergraduate students from Management and Commerce. What about B Com. ,BBA , BBM , BBS etc .I studied BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) in Finance & Banking and which is 4 year programme with thesis . I have a combined knowledge about Accounting , Economics , Management , Marketing , Human Resource , Organazational Behaviour , Strategic Mgmt. , Business Law and other subjects and i specialised from Finance and Banking . I want to join MBA but i am not from big collages or institutions , definitely i won't be acceptable by seeing about my collage according to this vdo . The question is an Engineer who is come from totally different field so how can better than us . Is The Only CAT exam provide knowledge about management and commerce ? because of My passion i had entered to BBS instead of my wellwishers advices who wanted to become an Engineer . what's the fault the undergraduate management and commerce cource or mba entrance ? either management course has to favour to entrance exam or entrance exam doesn't have to favour only engineering .it is last level of discrimination . Is my degree is only for working in the sole tradition concern or preparation of government jobs ? I have seen education is differ by money but First time i m feeling the education is differ by collage and entrance . But where i m from here no discriminate and student don't leave their field and no matter about how is college the matter is knowledge about related sector . thank u Wake up Management and Commerce undergraduate .

It is not the interview or exam(apart from quants) which favours engineers but their sheer numbers. Leave aside MBA colleges even if you throw a stone in air 80-90% chances are there that it will land up on the head of an engineer. So, even getting a tier -2 college(15-16 LPA) is good and has higher average salary than CA course(8-10 LPA). Also, non-engineers get diversity points. The only point is to have maths alongside for CAT preparation. Another thing, being from top notch college is not at all an argument. Going through the batch profile of FMS DU I saw many local college students.

Just want to say, MBA doesn't favors Engineers, Cut off for Engineers in IIM A is well around 99.95 Percentile, wheras for BBA Bcom it is 90 -95... It is so easier for the Commerce background guys to go for MBA as it favor them via reservation..Yes MBA colleges have Field wise Reservation and not just Caste based reservation... 70% Engineer is result of the aptitude that the Engineers share... considering CAT - VARC, DILR, Quants are the 3 sections that come, and none of them is taught in the 4 year course of Engineers. It is wrong to call the hardwork of Engineers as Favor by CAT

This also needs to be check how many engineers and other graduates fill up the form. If more engineers are applying then chances are that more engineers will be qualifying as well. Also, it needs to be taken into the account that whats the level of the candidates applying for these exams. If the engineering candidates are good in general, then its more obvious that more qualified candidates will be engineer.

You compared CA as an Employment with MBA and it may be correct as CA as a Professional may not be comparable. You compared CA course with only high profiles (colleges) of MBA. Well in my opinion there's nothing like better or best. But you have to find your strength , weakness and your interest. And choose subject that suits your personality.

Well (in my opinion) scopes boils down to how much you work on yourself ,sharpen your knowledge and make yourself saleable.Both of them can be great iff you work . But for me rather than running after scopes and salary you better run after your interest. Scopes (going subject wise) can give you salaries but your interest will make you lot more than salaries and on top of it you'll be satisfied. As per me I chose BBA ovar BSC because of my interest in business. So I will suggest you to have a clear talk with yourself and choose whether you will run after salary or your interest. Now talking about salaries BSC might give you a bit more than BBA (depending upon your circumstances.) But a good MBA will provide you better than MSC(again it all boils down to how much you work on yourself)

Well I'm sorry . But I would recommend you to talk to people from all BBA ,MBA ,CA, BSC(separately) and listen to there experience . I might not be able to provide you with full insight about BBA since I'm also an student.so you'd better talk with students turned professionals. And at the end of the day be willing to take responsibility of your actions. Take a decision and prove it right as Ratan Tata says. Good luck (for both of us😂)

13:30 it is not a bias it is just that jee taught us how to face these exams, please add this too because i am seeing there are some young kinds too thinking kee amity se engineering karunga fir mba set... I am an ee from iitkgp and currently preparing for mba and frankly speaking i am finding preparation much easier than my friends from commerce background too....

In short engineers do engineering you have given 2 years of schooling than 3-5 years of training so now it's of no use to come into mba 🙂 you have applied a lot of efforts in doing engineering and commerce students should also get the chance na 😙😙

Students from Streams other than Engineering Background get extra marks to promote diversity. CAT paper consist of QA /LRDI/ VARC . Anyone with logical brain and enough exercise can excel LRDI .. VARC is considered Hard for engineers .. Only Reason Engineers are higher in these colleges is because of some grasp on QA and Sheer number of Engineer that graduate in India.

Plus is ..After graduation u register intermediate exam through direct entry..no need to write cpt exam Minus is ...u have to go training + coaching + studies ...u cant even manage ur tym properly
