One of the most sublime pieces of music ever composed - by anyone, anywhere, any time. I love too that it honors the indigenous Guarani people and their long history in the forests of central South America. And not least, masterfully played, just as Barrios intended.

I keep coming back here periodically for study in learning the piece. I too have listened to a lot of performances, and this IS the best performance ... almost divine. This piece is easy to either rush the timing too fast, or else to lag to much in the wrong places. Also, keeping the right intensity is a bit of a trick. The guitar is a very lovely sound, strong robust bass and mellifluous trebles. You picked out a good one! It so is nice how you let the music breath is all the right places, not rushing, and then quicken precisely in other places that need to keep moving.
