Sweet I been building my dads ol 64 c10 for 5 years now and I’m coming along nicely bout to drop my 5.3LS in tomorrow I done all metal work my cab was way worse than his if this wasn’t my dad’s truck it would have been in the garbage but it’s been garage kept while building it and forever will be just remember that when they just sit in a field for years the moisture rust it out all under it

Again, making it look easy. I just filled the fuel tank hole in the cab (most recent video) and I welded and filled the seams in the top of the cab. The body work isn't difficult, but extremely time consuming. Your repair looks flawless.

That detail work will set your truck apart, no question

The filter in front of the fan....crafty idea! Will definitely utilize that quick trick.

It works surprisingly well. Especially when placed up high getting the dust that circulates in the air. I need to make a couple brackets for another one.

I have been doing metal work on my 84 C10. I had to replace the driver’s floor pan, kick, outer rocker, inner and outer cab corner. I’ve never done any body work in my life, so take that into consideration. I use a straight cut line where ever possible, but even a straight cut on a curved cab corner requires tedious fitting. After I roughly cut the piece, oversized of course. I cut a few 90 degree slots, to the cut line in the replacement panel. This made quick work of getting the replacement to size due to more visual references of the existing metal. Not too far, just past your Sharpie line drawn on the back side. Any over length slot welds right up. Worked for me and took out the uncertainty of over cutting on the first fit up. Then fine tune with your wheel. Nice work. Rt. outer rocker and cab corner then off to the blaster for a complete strip.

You probably know this but you will want to block sand the mess out of the back flat side of that cab corner. With a longer block than you used, so your transition is good. You will see the filler through the sanding I saw after you paint.

Does the bottom lip of the cab corner on the rocker side weld to the inner floor like the outer rocker did?

Do you know the colour code of the original green on the truck? My 70' is the same colour and I want to stay with it but I cant seem to find the code anywhere.
