I rode on route 7 and was surprised at the large number of switches twists and turns there were on the route, but very impressive and most enjoyable.

Excellent, thank you! No shortcomings for me, but an outsider would perhaps find names of stops useful.

Great video! But I feel the distance between stations is too short. It's probably just a 2-3 minute walk between most stations. I'd place the stations at least 1km apart to reduce costs and speed up travel time.
@tramlink85443 жыл бұрын
place them 1km apart and youll have like 5 stations for all of zurich :D the reason for so many stops is twofold. firstly it makes it easier for pensioners and secondly, platforms wouldnt be as full during rushhour, also being faster dosent help as the timetable needs to fit in with the other trams timetables as some stops are shared by multiple lines
@CharlieWalkrich3 жыл бұрын
@@tramlink8544 I see, that makes sense. Thank you for your response and the explanation!

@heinzer69 The unit is not a Be4/8 (with a sedan) but an older Be4/6 without one. The clicking noise is the old-style speed indicator. You can also hear them on old SBB Re4/4s and Re6/6s.
@ddffd15394 жыл бұрын
Great video! Are you sure that this is Be4/8? It misses the characteristic motor sounds when accelerating and stopping.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. And yes, it is recorded from a Sänfte. The mic points in the same direction as the cam, so some noises get lost. I hope for some improvements next time.
@ok-nc8qm4 жыл бұрын
Maybe I'm a little bit too late, but that's obviously a Be 4/6. You can hear the characteristic sounds of the speedometer, that the 3rd series doesn't have and at 27:02 you can see in the mirror, that it is not a Sänfte, since they have a Display instead of a Destination Rollerblind and a shorter coupler. Besides of that, that's a good video and i'm looking forward to more Cab Rides of Zurich Trams.

Блин, вроде все как у нас, но в 100 раз чище. Вот почему? Вроде бы не больше нас работают, а живут намного лучше. Противно. Может быть, бомбу атомную на них сбросить? Будет, как у нас. И завидовать не придется.

A rather wet day does not give the best impression of what a place is like. Every where looks rather oppressive. And not a people place. If you want to enjoy life , don't come here. Having looked at the full video, I am convinced I would not like to live here. I think I will stay in happy Ontario, Canada.
@JackFate762 жыл бұрын
Ontario is 25 times larger than Switzerland. And it is a car-centric hell-hole. Not a single place there comes even close to the beauty of Zurich.
