Needless to say the upgrade system is entirely pay to win. Try +0 to +20 and 0 extrem to 6/6 and 0 divine to 15 divine and show uq how many core, cc item you need to make it. And how many alz. Ty

Cabal online - is alive?

You guys should start gifting new players lvl190 characters considering how difficult it would be for a new player to compete with the older, more loyal, players. I would even argue a bare minimum lvl 200 character. The amount of time and money it would take for a player with just that head start to try and compete with older players now is ridiculous. Not only for PvP content but for PvE as well. Doing any of the decent dungeons these days requires a basic set of +15 and even like that its difficult. Just an idea that EST might want to take into consideration for the sake of its future. Sounds ridiculous but trust me, new players would still have absolutely no chance against the old but at least this way they can do some of the less difficult dungeons at a decent pace and perhaps see the light at the end of the tunnel, inspiring them to potentially stick around. I think this opinion has some validity coming from a player who played cabal competitively for about 5-6 years. A couple of months ago a friend lvld me a new char from 1-190, brand new account, literally gifted me a full set of palladium between +15 - +18 with all accessories ect at at least +10, bike, pet, entire resist set. Even like that people were quite literally 1 shotting me in TG(also i should mention my char wasnt HR 20 which is also time consuming and a very basic requirement these days). As far as dungeons go, i was basically restricted to awakened dx dungeons. Any newer/funner content, forget about it. The game feels like a lost cause for anyone who is new or migrating from another server. Take this info with a grain of salt, sounds absurd to give out lvl 200's or lvl 190's to new players but for anyone who has actually kept up with the progression of the game might me more sympathetic and understanding. I challenge the GM to try playing with an HR 15 lvl 190 char on a full +15 palladium set in a TG of your preference to experience the gap difference between gear and lvl. It is substantial. Anyways, those are my 2 cents. Nice videos BTW, you guys should continue realising these types of tutorials. Meant to post this on forums btw but couldn't remember my password sigh...

@@Darker_Void_Scientist In what way? The gap difference between the geared and the non geared that even if EST did go ahead with above idea, it would make marginal difference in terms of PvP. This is mostly for the sake of giving the newer players an opportunity to maybe just maybe try to gear up at a decent pace. Gearing up in this game is a career-type effort. Players shouldnt have to be concerned with the leveling, and i only say it for cabal because of how far ahead the playerbase are right now. If GM did consider my suggestion, even with that head start you still have honor, ol, wings, the other upgrades that i cant recall from the top of.my head, merit system. All those obsticles are still in place. Trust me, giving a new player a lvl 190 is hardly if at all an issue for veterans of the game. Also, this concept is not so foreign to mmos. SWTOR and Guild Wars 2 do this. They give out max lvl chars

@@RurouniKenshinShinta The only hard thing in Cabal is being better than THE BEST! It's not impossible to be competitive starting out as a new player. It's certainly not as difficult as you've illustrated. What is Cabal? Is it a console game, or an MMORPG that requires team effort ? You can get to 190 by joining a guild, or follow the many solo guides people made on here. Free everything, free this, free that. Cabal is a business and don't forget it.

@@Darker_Void_Scientist You are missing the point. Yes, by definition its not hard to be competitive. Reaching lvl 190 as a brand new player with no pet, no bike, no accessories, no income to back you up from your main is in fact very difficult. Even while i had a full set from my main + accesories lving a 190 was costy and time consuming especially if you dont have a group of friends to help you(luckily i did). Try lvling a char from 1-190 without any of your alts alz, accesories, ect. Gurentee you rethink your opinion. In fact next time there is an experience event i dare you to create a brand do account just for the sake of this argument and lvl a char to 180. Also try running an ic1/aos2 without your alts gear and just use what you acquired from lvl/quests. Even with your experience i bet you will be seriously frustrated before you reach 170. Come back and update me on how it goes, if you still insist its easy ill shut my mouth.

@@Darker_Void_Scientist You clearly dont know what you are talking about. Some console games require team work. Free this free that? What are you referring to? Only suggested they consider giving new players a very basic beggining, a lvl 190/200 char so that they have an opportunity to not catch up to vets cause we all know that wont happen without some serious dough, but to at least be able to do some of the more basic dungeons at a decent pace. You have to take this part into consideration, the standard at which the game has reached. If you dont realize that then what i say will never make sense to you. Wish i can check the prices of items so i can give an estimate of how.much time it would take a brand new player to reach a basic set. But since i dont have that luxury with me right now im going to go ahead and guess based on my experience. At least 1-2 years assuming that person is treating cabal like an 8 hour job. At least.... By the time that person has reached the old standard, a new standard is now in place, cause we all know how quickly cabal changes from one half a year to another. We generally get at least 2 major patches a year. Do the math, its very basic, sit and calculate the cost of each of your items or A set of items that you think is sufficient for a new player to make decent income, then figure out how much that player can make in an hour with that set( assume that player invests 8 hours a day for 1 year). Its a lot of work, unrealistic amounts of work. Trust me its not as easy as you are convinced it is.
