I agree with what you’re saying, you can only be strong for somebody else for so long before you burn out. Someone in a HUGE church gathering I went to addressed this issue and said that while it’s great to help people, you need to set boundaries so you’re not tearing yourself up in the process. I need to work on that myself. On another note, I’m beginning to feel a sense of power with songs like this. I know they’re meant to be a powerful source of empathy, but if you think about it, they can also serve as reminders of how epic of a person you really are. It’s a lot like how I feel listening to RED and STARSET, which is why CS is right up there with them as my favorite rock bands. I still hope one day to see a reaction video to those two bands, since there are so few done in a style like this video, but I’m satisfied with CS reactions until that day maybe comes :)
