@@neodmitryo Thanks! I live near Cab and not far from Crystal. Really don't ski/board Crystal much, too boring and expensive so I do a weekday season pass at Cab. And Crystal is kind of hostile towards snowboarding.

So it's just a road through the back country? Can you not ski off Piste?
@neodmitryo4 жыл бұрын
this video shows the road that goes toward the back country. There is more than just this.

This is the furthest out BC trail. It is not super steep, but narrow, when it's icy it becomes like a Hotwheels track and very hard to control one's speed. There is one trail out further but it is out of bounds and a lot of it is walked along the top of a ridge. It goes to the deep back country where there are still remains of abandoned lifts and slopes. Closer in and just left of where he entered that trail there is a big bowl that tends to trap deep powder when we get it. Left and closer in still is a ridge that one can follow to a couple shoots that unfortunately too many people know of now and the snow gets skied off quickly. Just in and left from then is an old lift trail where conditions are rough too. Finnally, one can go off the skiers left of that ridge into a V shaped glade, one of the most used BC areas with several ways to enter. A bonus to this area is you can get back to the lifts without a walkout.
