If people thought that the Tamiya 1/14 scale r/c trucks were expensive,a lot of the all metal hydraulic 1/14 scale r/c farm & construction equipment is worth hundreds of dollars while the scratch built ones can be worth tens-of-thousands of dollars upon completion.

@@lifeaintover7165 RCtruckandconstruction forum is still a good resource but it's pretty dead over there. HobbyConcepts on YT is a great channel and Bob that runs it also has a FB group called 1/14 Tamiya Truck Open Studio. It's a fun hobby but prepare to spend lots of time or money or both if you want anything more custom than a stock kit. I would suggest starting with a stock kit to see if you like it, I made the mistake of going too custom for my first build and I'm still working on it.
