Procrastinated about getting the bike out today but didn’t (actually yesterday now), so this made up for it, thank you 😊 I do get withdrawal symptoms when I haven’t ridden for a couple of weeks. Funny that, as until this year I hadn’t owned a bike for best part of 25 years and now I can’t live without it 🤷‍♂️

Hi, looked like your weather on the first day stayed good for you and riding through a beautiful part of the country “ the Cotswolds “, I live at the east side of the Cotswolds by the Thames and it’s great on a nice day to get out in this beautiful countryside and explore the little hidden villages, my son rides occasionally with me , he has the F850GS I the triumph Scrambler 1200, we both are taking a trip next yr to the Outer Hebrides, anyway great spot you found to rest the night , very tranquil looking , all the best for 2025 and a Merry Christmas too 👍, safe travels

We’re certainly having a rough time with the weather in the UK, the last 18 months have been rubbish really, well done for getting out in that downpour , you could have called in on Henry Cole he lives around there 😂, the rain seems to save itself for the weekends 😡, I’m taking early retirement so I’ll be able to get out on the good days W/E or not!, where there’s a will there’s a way 👍👍

@@themartiandefender2128 not being paid to say this or anything but out of all the brands I’ve tried, the Keis heated kit is by far the best I’ve ever used and makes winter riding a total game changer for me. I have raynauds so my hands on a trip like this would’ve been unbearable so for me I think they’re worth every penny if you suffer with the cold 😊🫶🏻

@@stuartjames6300 Hey, I use heated gloves and a heated vest and for U.K. riding this works very well for me although I would like to one day buy heated socks too as would mean I could ride further and longer in winter 😊 I have always ridden all seasons but before heated gear would find it painful and wouldn’t be able to ride very long. I use the brand Keis for heated gear and personally think it’s the best I’ve used out of the few brands I’ve tried 😊

@ I’ve just bought the Keis 601 thin jacket, it’s great, gloves are on order. The cables down to socks will be a pain, but like you say, will let you ride in low temperatures all year.

And as much as I agree with you, she’s very ugly, I adore this bike so much and get so much happiness riding her and at this time of year when it’s freezing and muddy this is the only bike I want to ride right now 🤣 the harley will come back out in the summertime haha 😝
