Making a mental note on the use of synthetic roof felt for protection. I'd have no idea what to charge for a job like this and will stick to painting the odd rental when occasionally asked.

Thanks a lot. I put on two coats of this 765 clear. It's pretty thick I'm the can, so I was able to put a heavy 2nd coat on and call it good. Sanded between coats with 400 grit paper wrapped around a sanding sponge. Tip was Tritech 308, airless pressure at 1500 with no trigger pull, and I used a 25' hose whip on the pump to save material usage/waste.

I haven't used that product before. Possibly a 408 tip though. 800-1000 psi

How did you build the wooden filter thing for the air mover fan? Can you buy them?

I came up with the design and built it. Just fit it to my exhaust fan and made it stable, rubber (intertube) gasket for good measure, and used my router to make the channels for the filters to slide into

It's a 2 piece unit. I attached magnets so the 2 parts stick together easily... which is great when I want to set it up integrated into the plastic containment, or zip-wall

i always have problem with overspray when spraying inside, the finish feels like sandpaper, the outside frame is always silky smooth

This was a very fine tip (308), and with a sweet product like this 765 Clear, it'll end up nice... though the 1st coat, sealer coat, will be rough from absorbing in and raising the grain too. Easy sanding fixes that

I don't get why you made about twice as many passes on the bottom, top and left side, compared to the right side and the back?!

I'm not sure, might be because the difference in spray pattern, but I adjust gun speed as needed. Also the 1st 3 sides overlap onto the adjacent back and right side, so area already covered

I love the Graco airless pumps. Quiet and smooth. The 490 has the right level of features and electronics with ample power to spray.

Yes, it can be catalyzed or used straight as a 1k
