One point to power washing is safety. Black cement is slippery. So now just half the walk is dangerous. Oh yeah the stairs are only half dangerous. If your going to do it do it right.

While you all are in Galveston you need to check out the Kemper house. The house is being restored by volunteers and is beautiful. Thank you for showing a little bit of history in Galveston. The checker pattern we draw attention to old downtown. And I love that you cleaned the broken parts of the sidewalk and air dried the water. Sad they have a City Maintenance department that could have done it. But it wouldn't have been as nice! If the dramatic pattern was achieved by using black and white concrete slabs, it would be lovely. In this case however, half the sidewalk is still dirty. Hope this doesn't create a hazard, especially on the stairs.

You shouldn't have cut the flower. It looked like a wild Black eyed Susan.They "Attract Butterflies & Songbirds! Claybuster! Deer Resistant! Drought Tolerant" and self seed. They are the symbol of ENCOURAGEMENT and that house needed some especially with the great clean up of the cement.

Come on people, do you honestly think they would leave an unsafe walking space? Besides what was more unsafe a fully black slimy sidewalk or the checkerboard? What he shows for pictures is not necessarily the finally what is left when he leaves. Flowers come and go and yet yards have to be trimmed and if you wanted to do several I a short time wouldn’t be worth one flower over several people to be served.? It certainly drew attention to an otherwise pass by unnoticed house. I admit it had to grow on me but now it looks fit for an Artists home. Question. I have a 1890's home with that horrid green mold. Nothing works but I saw you rid it from a house in FL. Was it chlorine? Great job guys.

I think their intentions were okay but I would prefer it completely cleaned up without the checkerboard. Would have looked cleaner and more uniform. Looks like crap. I love these guys, watching them for years now but this one....no.
