You do have to be careful about "official" notifications you receive by mail. Lots of companies out there that make money by doing the paperwork and regulatory compliance stuff for businesses and that is fine if you don't want to do it yourself. I do think it is deceptive when they print their envelopes and letters so as to look like official government alphabet agency correspondence. Seems to me that the use of official looking envelopes and the threat of massive fines is a scare tactic to get people to pay them to do these tasks. Pretty scummy way of getting business, but I guess it scares enough people to sign up with them. People are gullible and will believe it when the government and the media tell them that inflation has come down and the economy is great. The truth is that the rate of inflation has declined from 8% down to 4%, but there has been no deflation, so over the past 3 years prices have actually risen 17%.
