I still do If the price is right. For example, If a new film is released and I'm planning on buying it, and the steelbook edition is only 5.00 more, I'll usually go for it. I rarely do the ebay or import thing anymore, unless it's something I really must have. Also, I'll upgrade my regular BD's when the price is right (ie, Best Buy exclusive steelbooks for 10.00). It's an expensive addiction that I had to tone down. Blu-ray Books on the other hand, now that's a different story... --KJ

Sorry you feel like we have slighted you. KZbin cash only pays for a small part of our trips. Most of it is out of pocket. But it's beside the point. We both have jobs, I'm planning a wedding, I don't have a ton of cash. I'm not complaining here. I'm just letting you know that we will be doing vids as much as we can. So there ya go. I saw your comment, and we shot a video Yesterday 2/19. I'd love to do it every week, and that's our goal, but with our work schedules clashing, it's tough.

Thank you, yes, there are reasons. We address them in the video we shot yesterday which should be going up Monday. The short and long of it is that My and KJ's work schedules conflict. We had planned one last week, but I was on call at work (hospital) on the only night we could conceivably do it. So that killed it.

I'm a veteran comics collector from way back. True Silver Age comics are mainly DC, late 1950s to late 1960s. Marvel early 1960s to early 1970s is just Marvel Age (as in Marvel Age of comics). Marvel was all about Ditko and Kirby - after them, forget it. Whereas DC had a dozen great artists over those years (of course also going back to the golden age).

Rarely. I'll occasionally pick up an older film or documentary at Big Lots or a pawn shop if it hasn't been released to Blu-ray (Or sometimes, in the case of old black and white films, if the transfer to DVD is solid, I'll go ahead and buy it for 2 or 3 bucks. B&W upscales nicely. Not saying it's better than Blu-ray, but for the price It might be good enough for me). --KJ

If there's one thing I love more than movies it is comics my friends. OJ - you paying $26 for a very nice looking copy of ASM #100 that's unreal. On Evilbay I lose that issue all the time because it goes for $100+! I did luck out and get ASM #69 for $15 (including shipping).

I see where your coming from. However, I from Canada and moved to uk close to five yrs ago. I switched to blu ray because a majority of the titles are reg free. Although, the selection over here is good a there are some titles that I had to get imported from Us. Here are some of the imports that i had to get imported, Dog day Afternoon and Mean streets. Although Arrow is coming out with Blow out this spring and I have the steelbook reserved already.
