James' actor is so incredibly good. He's been great from the beginning but he blew me away in the last hour of the game. Btw, according to Masahiro Ito, all 4 original non-joke endings (Leave, In Water, Maria, Rebirth) are canon. Not sure about the 2 new endings added in the remake.

I got Maria ending, no idea how as I didn't really knew there were multiple endings and people say it is not very easy to get. Anyway, I am replaying this masterpiece over and over. Never played the original, I am so glad they are remaking the classics for young people like me because somehow all of the games I enjoy recently are Remakes - like FF 7 Remake, the RE remakes and now Silent Hill 2 Remake - these old games were the real deal and the new coat of paint help them pop and reach us graphic hoes... Thank you Bloober. I hope you do all the first 4 games as I have heard but good stuff about them.

You basically were a simp the entire playthrough. Watching out for Maria, staying close to her, maybe didn’t read Mary’s letter and skipped her dialogue at the hallway before the end

I thought some of the extra endings would be about James being in a loop reliving all of this over and over again, and that would be the reason for these 'memories' from the original game.

It took me almost 25 hours to complete the game for the first time.

And there already are people speedrunning it under two hours.

there actually is a new ending where mary survives, its called the "bliss" ending

@@ProductofChina that’s not a bad point, but the main reason I don’t think that thats the case is that Mary never coughs almost seeming as though through a uncompromising will to see her again, James somehow manifests himself into a world where Mary never gets sick, a world that isn’t truly real. That’s why I think that she survives and the fact that the new world isn’t real is the “ignorance is bliss” you said about. But then again it’s fucking silent hill and every ending is pretty much always up to interpretation, but that’s just my view on the ending.

That's a very optimistic interpretation of the ending.I think none of the ending are dysneyian happy ending kind and "Bliss" is no exception. To me it's one of the saddest ending..it's about reality denial and drowning sorrow in memories, an hallucinating James not able to realize what he did and cope with it.Also the title is an hint about that imho.

@@nicknerd7099 I meant it more in the way like he was trapped in the world that makes him happy. Like have you seen that one Superman comic where he was trapped in his own perfect world while he’s slowly dying because of it. I think the only real good ending is leave. But yeah, ignorance is bliss but the truth was what James needed. (Just a little theory about it I had you don’t need to take it seriously if you don’t want to)

Really liked your play through of the game. If I can suggest one thing, fight the bosses. You’re a streamer, make it entertaining instead of running around the boss in circles.

Nice remake . Only think songs and soundtrack are in the original better . The Cover Versions sounds borring . Great gameplay . I love the original so much . But remake dit a good job .😇😊👍
