If you choose to spend your holidays with us, you will experience a feeling of “being at home, away from home” at our family-run hotel. Our goal is to provide friendly, personal and clean services, resulting in happy memories to all our guests, on a 2-star cost.

ABOUT
Cactus Hotel is located in the area of Makenzie in Larnaka. It is ideally situated a street behind the seashore, so it is protected from the loud noises of the busy road and the loud music of the surrounding bars and restaurants, yet it’s still just a 3-minute stroll from the beach.
Larnaka is the second biggest seaside town, situated at the South Eastern region of the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Makenie Area is a well known and much visited spot, due to its beautiful Blue-Flag beach and lively nightlife offered by traditional and contemporary restaurants and nightclubs. A 3-minute walk from the hotel, takes you right on the beautiful recently constructed seashore promenade. Walking a few more minutes to the right along the promenade, takes you to the contemporary Castella Beach followed by the Makenzie Beach. A 10-minute walk to the left along the promenade takes you straight to the famous Phoinikoudes Seafront and the Town Center. The Larnaka International Airport if just a 7-minute drive
The main restaurant seats 80 guests and its open for breakfast, lunch and dinner . Guests can also enjoy all their meals at the spacious pool terrace restaurant which can seat up to 100 guests.
Breakfast is an 18-item buffet served from 7:30-9:30. For lunch and dinner guests can choose from our a la carte menu or enjoy traditional and foreign cuisine on buffet nights.
LEISURE AND RECREATION
The hotel has a spacious pool area with a 6 x 15 meter overflow style swimming pool. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be used free of charge by hotel guests. In the afternoons enjoy a game of pool or table tennis in the games area.
A small corner is dedicated to our little guests, with toys, an arts and drawing table and a playhouse while parents can relax nearby and enjoy their coffees and drinks whilst watching their children play safely.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES
The hotel offers a private area for group meetings and business conferences. It fits up to 50 people with comfortable sitting, individually controlled air conditioning and black out curtains. A very big TV screen is available on request, as well as a projector. For organized meetings, coffee breaks can be organized. This area is also suitable for private parties for groups of up to 50 people.
RECEPTION
The Reception desk is operating 24 hours a day. Our multilingual staff is always happy to help our guests for any information regarding the facilities and the services of the hotel, any tourist information, bus timetables, taxi fares, car rentals, excursions, bicycle hire, transfers, currency exchange etc.
WIRELESS INTERNET
Access to Wi-Fi is free of charge in all rooms and public areas of the hotel.
PARKING
Our guests are free to park their cars without any charge, in our private parking spaces and the area around the hotel.
OUR ROOMS
With a total of 60, Double/Twin Rooms are perfectly suited for couples, families with young children and for single occupancy.
These rooms can easily accommodate a cot or extra bed. A number of Interconnecting rooms are also available and can be booked “on request and subject to availability”.
Our rooms are around 16sq in size with en-suite shower room and a small balcony with a view to the main land or pool. All rooms are equipped with a TV with a selection of local and satellite channels, individually controlled air-conditioning system, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi access, Safe box and smoke detector system. You can rent a small fridge in your room for €2/day.
All rooms have an en-suite toilet room, wash basin, shower and bath amenities(shower gel and shampoo). We maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the rooms with daily servicing. Towels and Bed Sheets are changed every 3 days.

KASTELLA BEACH
Kastella beach is a beautiful secluded Blue Flag beach, just before the Makenzie Beach were guests can relax on palm-tree covered sunbeds and enjoy drinks, snacks and meals right on the seafront from traditional and contemporary bars and restaurants.
