Hunter, big fan of your videos. I hope you will continue going to hobbyists' greenhouses. It's fun to see what people grow and collect. Do you happen to know of anyone who is selling echinopsis hybrids?

I recently found your channel and have been binge watching all your videos. A stupid question, what's with the random space ship noises throughout the videos? Does it mean something, or just for the fun of it?
@craiglevy81442 жыл бұрын
A first time viewer of one of your videos. What is the electronic pulse/ricochet sound that occasionally sounds in the background of your audio track ex. at 10:57 mark? Your subject matter and informative interview can stand on their own without the intrusion.

Interesting. Guess that is a much nicer climate than Southern California. Aluminet that I have seen here breaks down in a few months and does not last a year. My cacti really suffer in summer. They shrink and wilt. I have to supplement and shade them. Of course, in the natural landscape, cacti does not survive here. Just scrub, sand, and Joshua Trees, all of which also suffer in summer and winter.

Don't some plants like copiapoa, pseudolithos and quite a few other asclepiads, and lophophora especially the diffusa type look like Jabba the Hut let alone the cucurbit cephalopentandra ecirrhosa..?

You're standing in a greenhouse ;) Polycarb = greenhouse? Meh, half those guys living in polycarb need HEAPS of ventilation to deal with living in a closed "hothouse" box. They'd mostly be better off with shadecloth.

Retusus is a fast grower and that is absolutely on par for a 10 year old ario. Also consider he is basaiclly hard growing everything since it’s essentially full elements in Arizona. They are def from seed. I know the grower who grows them
@leevermaak90282 жыл бұрын
@@CactusQuest Thanks for the info, that’s insane growth for ariocarpus, I assume fissuratus takes longer
@CactusQuest2 жыл бұрын
@@leevermaak9028 yes definitely. Fissuratus is one of the slowest in the genus if not the slowest
