Shinobidou wa muteki da (｀w´メ) Full defaults with save and pause disabled, as per Hi Score mode hardcoding. Ninja is the run/gunner of the cast, with generous firepower and high mobility. This is the Japan revision, which is significantly tighter on resources than the World rev also included in the ACA release.

oh wow the addition of NPC looking charactesr/villagers at the beginning is unusual for an action game huh! Hahahah you have to read the mermaid's spiel while the clock is ticking! outrageous lmao

Yeah, even some iconic coinop ARPGs like Dragon Buster and Genpei Toumaden don't have the classic NPC townsfolk. Some of them have some pretty amusing lines, especially the dog! I'll have to add some English captions now you mention it ^__^ Indeed the game is *ruthless* about wasting your time nattering away XD Even the bosses are in on it!

I totally missed it until he posted about the AC version, since I'd only played the Genesis version, where the Priest AND Ninja got chopped 3; Coolest two classes, easily! Also the cutest dwarf sprites, haha.
