I also enjoyed how the designers set it up that the enemies would gradually shift from space themed to western themed the closer you got to Woody. It was just one other thing that I think really showed the level of attention and detail that went into this game.

I just thought about your comment and I don't think that's right at all. I actually recall a very drastic shift in a western direction starting with level 11, the elevator level. This is where you can find cobras in the shaft and when they die, they break apart into what looks like chips of wood. I suppose the Toy Barn level did have western-style music but nonetheless, I don't recall a gradual shift at all. It seemed kind of drastic. Would you care to explain how you found it gradual? Which levels had which touches of western?

Another detail I really liked for Elevator Hop was the platforms were colored differently depending on how close they were to the top with violet to red so you could tell where the elevators were in relation to each other

The music is so nostalgic. I've never played the game, but there's a particular sound that orchestral music had on the PS1. I don't know whether it's because they used fewer musicians or what, but each instrument is that much clearer and purposeful.
