It’s been 6 years, 2024 is just round the corner and this is still one of the best pieces of music I’ve heard to this day, the humility and the honesty is truly incredible, he managed to speak to so many people from all walks of life and remind us of how precious life and connections really are, at the core this is what life is all about, fuck all that other noise, he was a different caliber of artist. Cadet still lives in my mind, I think about him and his music every other day atleast. I first heard this years after experiencing my mum having cancer, keyhole surgery and it going into remission and now she has cancer again and doctors found a mass. I just wanna say thank you cadet for always blessing me with your music, you have helped me through processing emotions so much with just this track alone. Gone but never forgotten, sleep easy ❤

2 years ago my dad got cancer and passed away. Cant say how much this song helped me. Used to play it on repeat and rap along my own bars in my head. So many of your tracks I related to and helped me so much. Fucked up you're gone don't think I've ever felt someone's death that I don't know personally like that before. My great nan died the same day as you too and she was always in my mind listening to stereotype. I never did go see her man lifes fucked.
