We visited Cádiz a few weeks ago. It's a beautiful old town with romantic little squares and narrow streets laid oud in a grid pattern. We found some great restaurants and happened to be there during the famous Cádiz Carnaval, which was a real treat. Sorry to hear that it was raining while you were there!
