We spent three weeks in Andalusia in May 2024: Cadiz was my favorite by far! I am rewatching this video now that I am back home. You guys nailed it! We stayed in a mirador air bnb (not the one you featured. It was amazing! Thank you both so much! Cadiz is #1.

@@RoRoRo862 The center of Cadiz, called La Tacita de Plata, is beautiful to get lost and explore. The last time I went, I went by Tripadvisor recommendations and the truth is that it was very good. We also organized an "excursion" to a delicious cherry's and wine cellar that was incredible.

I left my heart in Cadiz. My great great grandfathers (3 of them) left Spain for Philippines . That's in early 1820's. I was there for only three hours, in transit, but had a chance to meet briefly relatives. What an exhilarating experience.

Yes, just last month! We were based in Malaga, but it was a lovely drive. Next time we will take the train.

Not sure that you are able to take a train from Malaga to Cadiz directly (I think you need to travel via Seville) 😢 but the drive is indeed beautiful. Now there are talks on building a train track from Malaga to Marbella area, but still a long way before that happens I guess.

@@thepakspan Yes, I think we'd go via Seville. We just bought a home in Torremolinos in March, should close in May. Moving late 2024. Would love to see a direct line from Nerja all the way to Algeciras, and on to Cadiz! Someday, maybe. Thanks again.

Day trip is absolutely fine, I’d spend most of the time in the old town and visit only Playa Victoria in new part if I have time but make sure to head back to La caleta beach for the sunset.

bonito y completo video de cadiz, pero como a todos se os olvida visitar y enseñar una parte con unas vistas increibles y muy olvidada y que tu si has nacido aqui conoceras. La punta de san felipe y la estatua de gades o las murallas de san carlos. Pero no es critica, el video mejor no puede estar

Ugh Cuba of Spain. Cuba has nothing of Spain (except the underwater beauty of course). Drove all over Cuba, its bland. Driving through Spain however is awesome (not the center).

Cadiz is known as the Cuba of Spain due to the cathedral giving a look of Cuba. In fact a scene from the movie James bond showing Cuba was actually shot in Cadiz due to the very reason. We haven’t been to Cuba(hopefully one day) but Spain definitely is very diverse and a beautiful country.
