When I was younger, watching them on tv, sporty spice was my least favorite. Scary and ginger were hot, posh was pretty, baby was cute. I didn't really know what to make of Melanie C. Now that I can re watch all their videos from music videos and live performances on KZbin, she has the best singing voice. She is actually gorgeous and on top of that she is athletic. She is now my favorite spice girl. This song is my favorite Mel C song.

Same, when they all went solo and Mel cut her hair I've stopped paying attention. Recently when Mel popped up in interview podcasts and opened up about her traumas I understand her songs better. I don't consider her a Spice girl as a solo artist, but just a great artist.

Her hair was previously dyed jet black. When she bleached it to go blond the over processing badly damaged her hair so when she chopped it all off it wasn't by choice.
