I think in this year's worlds its actually fun to watch NA teams. There were many NA teams that did terrible in the past worlds. In Season 2 Worlds, M5 won their games with picks no-one else was playing (such as Zilean mid) and in the post-game interview after beating one of the asian teams Alex Ich said when asked about their win "we just pick broken heroes" lmao. Because they were trolling. The only way Flyquest gets back into the game is if Nunu just pulls off some drifting ganks and that's exactly what HLE allowed. Not to mention they drafted an experimental comp with Peanut (a tank engage player) on Zyra and Zeka going for Yasuo for fun when Tristana would've been a way better pick. Don't put too much stock in it. Flyquest won 3 games in this tournament. Against GAM, a close one against PSG, and against a trolling HLE... It's not something to jerk yourself about...
