obviously I don't know anything about sponsors but wouldn't Displate sponsor them? like they all play league and could get champion metal displate posters and Baus already has one on the wall and other's could get them too from other games even or am I dumb and they wouldn't get much money or something? feels like there are easy sponsor options that are not technology related as in phones , pc and so on

I dont know about Sponsors either but getting Non-Tech sponsors would be the way to go. If Rekky loves Razor and Nemi loves Corsair then they can get what they want but they all could get a redbull sponsorship, imo

For Displate as a company it would make no sense to sponsor LR for an entire season when they can just sponsor Baus once or twice in that same time period and get like 50-60% of the same exposure anyway. The only companies for whom its worth to sponsor sports teams are those who specifically want brand recognition in their field or those who are regularly useful / coming out with new products. Samsung wants to sponsor a team so that a viewer chooses Samsung over LG because they saw it on their favourite team's jersey, or so that a viewer is informed when the brand new Samsung Milky Way 50Y or whatever phone comes out, versus Displate which has 1 product and 0 competition, so all they want is for a viewer to be made aware of their brand once (or like, once a quarter). Idk how big Gamer Supps is as a company, but chances are it's also too small for this kind of thing to be worth, but Redbull definitely could and does sponsor sports teams, they'd just probably fall into the other category of needing more data about LR to accept a sponsorship considering they have plenty of other, more established teams who want them.

i think people just stopped listening to caedrel after he made his first point about sponsors? sure, redbull or any other non tech company could sponsor them, but why would they? lr is 2 months old and played 5 games total. they have virtually no proof of being successful yet and no big sponsor would ever risk their brand on them. im sure caedrel can fund the first year, and then sponsors will likely have a reason to pay them in the second year if they're successful

@@RedzeeTV valuable but still not worth the risk. because they are just streamers they could easily do one bad thing and their team falls apart, they have no foundation yet. if they make it to an emea master or after one year, they will have definitely shown that they are a serious team. just being the best gameplay wise team does not mean they will have longevity.

all i hope is the feat becomes "first to 3 unique champion kills" has this makes it so it has more counterplay to top going 0/3 and losing turret at minute 8. like if its was 3 unique it makes it so bot/sup and jng or top jng and 1 extra or a mid jng fight that ends up with top or sup joining or drake fight makes it so there is counterplay too has even if jng top dies really early you can still fight for a mid and both bot laners killed without a extra death to get it.

Does the sponsors have to sponsor the players streams aswell? Cant you have the sponsor for the org but give the players a bigger cut from the other stuff? Or are sponsors really that picky that they cant have a person in the team sponsor a "rival company" on a seperate platfrom?
