I think Rowdy expects too much of Dressel, like come on 44,7 in the 100 freestyle when almost nobody has come close to it except morozov and a few exceptions. The 100 butterfly was amazing but the 100 free wr is another thing. The day he breaks it will be historic

Yea Rowdy needs to chill. He did the same crap with Dressel’s 100 free at 2018 NCAA’s.. “I think he can go 38 here”. Like what? Making it seem like going 39 wasn’t an unbelievable feat
@ch1do1214 жыл бұрын
@@daw3s Well, to be fair, with his performance that NCAA, I wouldn't doubt that. He was churning out 17 sec 50 frees like nothing. He was just burnt out at that point and it was his last race. I wouldn't be surprised with a 39 low but definitely felt 38 high was possible.
Kevin Mackenzie yep. That’s exactly the race I was thinking of. He’s a great announcer for swimming, but he’s ruined a number of Dressel’s races

@@deniswolf1846 that's what i'm saying, morozov came absurdly close after trying for soo long, a 44,7 is super hard even for Dressel. And we have to take to account that he was the one who swam the most week after week

morozov made 44.95 in 2018, just one hundredth of a second above the record

I bet that the Dressel will come out of the 50m free from 20 sec, and 100m from 44.8, but in 2021

He’s smiling because he went that time without going full effort. He knows he can break the world record.
