Pianos have note range as you mentioned, more advanced polyphony, and somewhat better ergonomics (though I still got tendonitis from overplaying); while guitars have faster repetition (strumming), pitch bend and vibrato, and portability. I love being a pianist but I would 100% learn guitar were it not for my injury. Man I wanna roll for this character though.

It would be a little underwhelming when youre fighting the final boss of a game and with no boss music. It’s why hoyoverse(and every other companies) put so much effort into their bgm.

This reminds me of a song from the film Prince of Egypt called Heaven's Eyes "A lake of gold in the dessert is worth less than a cool fresh spring. When she was young, Caesar sees a piano as a piece of junk while her dad tells her it's junk that was reclaimed by humanity from the Hollows and that it is a land that belongs to hope in a place of nothing. She did not understand for a time until the day she met Lucy, a girl from New Eridu who left for the Outer Rings in search of something she could not get in the city. Caesar offered to take her back at first until she started playing the piano which stunned Caesar. Caesar began interacting with Lucy who thinks the Outer Rings isn't too bad of a place as it still has music that can be played and a melody that can be formed. Caesar began learning to play the piano from Lucy and slowly understood what her father meant about a land of hope in a place of nothing.

My mom saw a piano on the corner a few months ago. Super heavy and no one had been able to arrange movers to take it since everything was booked during the summer. My wife and I levered/jacked it onto a dolly, ratcheted on some tie-downs, and pushed it across town that night to our home. Took 4 hours and a ton of effort with a janky setup, but now we have a very nice upright piano to play again. Both of us used to play when we were kids, and having one to ourselves now is pretty special. Nice vibes from this video, keep on cooking ZZZ :)

I love the juxtaposition of the Leader of the Sons of Calydon, lives in the Outer Ring (often depicted as a harsh place) and has an extremely cool bike, playing the piano, an elegant hard to learn instrument that brings about the most wonderful melodies in the right hands. This was DEFINITELY not in my Caesar Salad bingo card, but this was a welcome one.

It’s a very beautiful and heartfelt trailer for the character. I like how the tough times are symbolised by Lucy’s angry reply, and she teaches Caesar to play the piano. When it’s time for Caesar to teach someone else, she says that it’s easy to learn, which also symbolises that times are easier and humanity is coming back from the brink.
