I met Marty at an autograph signing/convention in Birmingham before covid. Dude was stuttering and slurring his words, smelt of really strong urine and clearly hadn't washed or changed for days. Hope he is in a better place now.

@2:00:40 sounds like Marty is talking about the old Three Days Grace song. A classic.

God Bless Marty Jannetty. He needs to start doing a spoken word storytelling show like Taker and Foley do. I know just from Jason's laughter alone it would probably sell out if it had a WWE event in the same city, or a wrestlecon or something, and it being a side event.

Through the entire madness of this episode, a few little spots shone through about what a stand up mf Macho Man was. That part that Marty explained about riding with Macho Man, and Marty said that Shawn's rise to the top was changing him, and Macho explained that 'its not changing him, its making him comfortable being who he really is'. They didn't talk about it here, but I believe that its been explained that when Roddy Piper instigated a fight between Jannetty and Michaels at a hotel, Macho Man was the one who showed up and talked to the cops and signed a few autographs and got them off the hook. It's pretty ironic - a lot of Macho Man's "madness" bled into real life. I don't think he was always playing with a full deck. And yet people speak of what a stand up guy he's always been.
