I love the idea of planned cities, especially ones with more greenery. It's interesting what city planners are coming up with nowadays in order to give a pleasant view while still fulfilling the needs of residents. And that park!! That canal strip!! I'm actually in love.

You always hear about these "cities of the future" but it's hard to design something completely new in dense urban areas. Its good to see a city that ran with the concept and here it seems much more natural and integrated then what you might imagine ! Also I've never seen an affogato taken to those levels before; that was very creative lol

I love that this planned city has so much greenery, water & is accessible by foot or bike. All too often the appartments get built & the rest of the infrastructure is forgotten, leaving you wondering who would ever want to live there.

I'm a sucker for fantastic infrastructure. I love the idea of having cities pair concrete with lots of greenery. Key point being trees that are cared for enough to survive - that was seen with the stability posts on all the ones in Cheongna. Also, having all amenities close by and many things in walking distance (or via transit). Builds more of a community in a city setting. Thank you for a taking us on a great tour, Cari! @@caricakes I am more settled now thank you, it's great to have piece and quiet, I have good outlooks on to the garden, which runs the whole length of my side of the building. A squirrel entertains now and again, and we have resident foxes, one of which looks very healthy, more of a country fox, a darker coat with a black and a white spot on it's tail. Living here means I lose about 40 minutes a day bussing it back to and from the West End for work, but I get to see a lot of folk that I have known over the last 14 years, which is good, I still tend to do all my shopping/ banking etc where I always have, and the busses are frequent. I am so happy here. I hope you and Kurt get the opportunity to have access to your own garden, you would have great satisfaction setting it out to just how you want it to look. Take care 😄XX

This is super interesting to me because I am from a town in California that is completely planned and was built in the 1980’s. We used to have a lot of Korean tourism and I can see elements of my hometown in this city, but it’s definitely an improved version of it!
