A lot of words about nikud stuff but never once did you mention when Israeli children are no longer taught using nikud and do they stop using nikud.

10:00 It's not about logic at all. You (like any other fluent speaker that I know of) commit the very same basic mistake of neglecting the FACT of the ABSOLUT necessity of being a Fluent speaker as a condition for reading consonantal writings (exactly the same works for Arabic). I never met anyone that could do it without having learned Hebrew at home since the beginning of their life or after many years living in Israel. You give very good information, BUT nobody will ever learn to read like you, for example, unless they first become a fluent speaker. It's about the language that has already been in your head as a native (or fluent) speaker plus years and years of practicing it in everyday life situations.
